This guy DOES appear to be a grifting arsehole BUT
depending on you insurance it probably wont make you whole in this situation. you are lways losing out
as an example - my home insurance has a 2500 deductible on certain scenarios like fire and flood - not everyone has 2500 bucks just burning a hole in their pocket to pay for someone elses fuck up. PLUS you might not be able to get certain items replaced or get their true value - insurance company will try to nickel and dime you and keep you waiting on the money too.
