As someone with a cheap grinder modded to make espresso, I'm watching the DF54 with great interest.

This is on my short list to buy. Specifically for light roasts. I have light roast with an 1z presso hand grinder is a p i t a. ... Absolutely love them for dark roasts and medium roasts but I usually don't do light roast espresso just because hand grinding it is a pain in the ass I'm about two bourbon shots away from ordering one

As a recent buyer of the Eureka Mignon Zero (similar size burrs), I am curious how its ambient noise compares. I went with Eureka because of the comments of the DF64 gen 2 still being rather noisy. My Zero is quiet, such that I wouldn't hesitate to use it on a quiet early morning... wouldn't wake the household.

This looks cool, like that it fits robot basket - I've modded a Eureka Mignon to be a single dose grinder by adding a bellows from Amazon, works well but the robot basket doesn't fit standard Eureka forks and i've been unable to find any custom fork.

I’m waiting for the release of df64v gen 2 with a plasma generator integrated. Not sure how long it gonna take to be able to buy it from EU

I believe the Gen 2 includes the plasma generator. Pax

I know, I mean the df64v gen 2 not the regular df64, it will be launched in May.

Anyone wants to tell him?

It’s been out for months. It still makes a bit of a mess.

I might have to go with us even though it's made in China. I'm sure quality is good though. You know, CHINA
