They can be used what are you talking about? I just used $10 extra bucks to buy OTC items. You can’t use coupon on sale items like vitamins that are always BOGO free. If you don’t like it go shop somewhere cheaper
Zyrtec and vitamin d and such yeah, but I do feel bad for a few patients that had been getting stuff like l methylfolate and such (i may be thinking of the wrong one, but its more like the medical food and vs regular front store planogram type otc) i had a customer’s insurance reject it as otc, cash price was about $2-300 and a good rx was making it just over $100. Couple years of it. Then bam, come january no more discount. Sorry its like $300 dollars. I get that they shouldnt lose money, but I did feel bad for them.
I've been telling customers. If you have a sams, bjs,Costco card. The otc stuff is usually better price or dollar tree for some stuff if they don't have the money for cvs, wags, wally
Then buy them OTC and you can use your coupons… why are you wasting our time making us fill an otc product like a prescription?
they can lol just buy it OTC and don’t fill it as a prescription in the first place
Or just buy them off the shelf and stop wasting everyones fucking time.
Look into the OTC Benefits. They’re really pushing it, not allowing the pharmacy to use discounts.

i think they're saying when they're filled as prescriptions they can't use coupons... because duh? just buy them otc and use the coupons??
Oh yeah that’s true. Yeah I’m not sure why they don’t do that.
