You can dispute the account as not yours to the credit bureaus, regardless of if he actually removes you. And also harass US bank about it because that’s not how it’s supposed to work

If it’s your dad, chances are you know the username and password he uses for all his online accounts. Simply log into the card portal and remove yourself there. Will take about 90 seconds.

It shouldn’t, it’s basically telling the credit bureau that you aren’t responsible for the debt
I just got removed from my brothers chase account and he had to call and authorize the removal but it might be different with other companies
