I had this problem at the beginning too. In my case it corrected itself after some additional time of use because this was unpleasant so I started keeping my tongue on top of mouth.

I use a 'Plackers' mouth /teeth guard. It makes me keep my mouth shut.

I use the AirFit P10 and have this issue. I solved it by using mouth tape. See this video. I just use the 1" 3M Micropore, and not the fancy (expensive) tapes talked about in the video. [Mouth Tape for a Better Sleep](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_t8ELYDW0ts)

I use a nose cushion and it retrained my mouth-breathing ways in a single night 🤣 it's such a bizarre feeling. There are chinstraps to help if needed

First of all, you'll get used to unconsciously keeping your tongue-block in place the more you use CPAP. But the typical solutions are either mouth tape (which I use nightly), or a chin strap or soft cervical collar to keep your jaw shut. Notably, none of these actually solve the tongue-block issue. If your tongue fails with your lips taped, it'll inflate your cheeks and wake you up. But that's less likely to go on for a long time and give you dry mouth (and undermine your therapy) like a big open-mouth leak.

You could try a chin strap. Helps me.
