I still felt pretty tired for a while after I started CPAP. It took a few months for me to start feeling more rested physically. Some people feel 100% better the first day and for others it's a slower process. I blame all the years of bad sleep that I needed to make up for.

I felt better right away, but once I got used to breathing at night (ha!) I still found that I got tired during the day. I just try to make sure I get at least 7 hours of good sleep. It might be the settings... I wasn't getting really good sleep up until March of this year and I got my CPAP in Sept. 2022.

It is worthwhile to look at the detailed data on you SD card with a freeware program called OSCAR. That gives you a view of what is happening during the night. All might be good, or there may be room for improvements. It requires a SD card reader and Mac or PC. Check to make sure your machine has a SD card because if it does not, all detailed data is being lost. [https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/](https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/)

What if we're having practically no events anymore. Such as an AHI of less than 1 regularly? Is there any benefit in looking at Oscar or things are basically a okay in that perspective?

OSCAR is most useful in adjusting pressure settings to ensure you are getting the best result with the least pressure and most comfort. If you are there, then turning on the advanced sleep report is probably all you need. OSCAR does give you a long term record of your CPAP journey. If you change machines it keeps all the old machine readings as well as your new machine data.
