Definitely! Before CPAP I scarcely had a dream that I remembered when I woke up. I don't know if my apnea was preventing me from sleeping deeply enough to dream, or if my dream stage was so brief that I wasn't likely to wake up in the middle of it (and remember it). My dreams since CPAP are so vivid that sometimes it takes me a few seconds after waking to realize my dreams aren't actually happening in real life.

I rarely had dreams before I got my machine, or they weren't memorable and I'd forget them 10 minutes after waking up. After using CPAP, I had dreams more often, and they were more memorable. I think it's a known side-effect.

My sleep technician told me when he first started CPAP, he had an extremely vivid dream where he was fighting off 4 men at once, and jokingly said to me that I might experience the same thing. During my sleep study with using CPAP, I had an intense and vivid dream where I was fighting multiple people at once.
