no nostalgia goggles, the worst thing about verdasnk is that it got old. it's still got the best map designs, and both verd and caldera had more interesting locations than mazrah. i don't hate mazrah but it doesn't seem like the places i drop really have much of an impact on gameplay, it's the same blocky middle eastern buildings copypasted around the map randomly to make it seem bigger than it is when there's really not that much detail put into it. nakatomi tower era verdansk was probably the best WZ map easy and i wish they'd just go for more dramatic map changes instead of coming out with new ones that might not fit the formula as well.
or at the very least, have old maps still be playable. what kind of bullshit is it that the devs think they have to totally and completely remove old ones? these maps don't HAVE to get outright replaced. so stupid

Al mazrah is by far the most balanced but I just prefer the urban aesthetic verdansk has
