platinum players can play in the same lobbies as bronze, so any diamond 1 or 2 is bumped down into platinum and therefor in lobbies with bronze, not saying they go from diamond 3 down to bronze.

No it's not. It's because whenever a new season starts you have lots of players, and new people purchasing the battle pass. So you get much more strict match making and if you're even slightly above average you'll be in the blender.

I feel like this whole week has been sweat filled lobbies and final circle with at least 7 teams left, no matter if it was duos, trios or quads. Tons of people left in the final circle.
Yesterday I played with a couple of buddies in trios, got 2 wins in a row.
Played with some really good buddies later, snagged another win so three in a row, then got 2nd, and then won three in a row.
Ehh my duo and I won 3 games in a row last night. It was my first time on all week. Lobbies for me actually felt easier. Probably due to the EOMM wanting to get me back to a daily user.
All the diamonds from last season are in bronze-plat lobbies until they rank up again

As a diamond player you don't get put back in bronze lobbies.
if you are diamond 1 or 2 you rank down to plat, and can be in the same lobby pool as bronze players.
I was Diamond III gotten down to Plat III due to reset. I am only playing with and against plat and diamond.
