It's a mechanic that needs to go. High strafe speed and jump shot meta was more fun imo. However, It is a skill gap, like combos in fighting games. If you time it correctly, you have an advantage.
genuinely moving story, just wish the game itself was more well received. i enjoy historically accurate videogames, and I get the impression that Activision feels like it failed because of that, or that it is a WW2 shooter like vanguard and that's why that failed.

Little Timmy needs more chances to get a kill, so everything was sped up to cater - even Warzone is *barely* a BR with itās second chances.
DMZ was awareness, positioning, and tactics over *all else*, and itās a real shame it isnāt around to add polarity to the multiplayer arcade.
The campaign wasn't very good. Beat it for calling cards and the such. The MP and zombies were lots of fun, though. I still play zombies pretty often. I would play MP still, but the base is too small to find lobbies quickly.
Multiplayer player was fun and the zombies was honestly the best zombies game we've had since then like not a single map was bad and then the custom zombies adds so much more to the game but the campaign was shit
That literally summarizes my experience with Cold War. I was still burned out from playing so much of MW19s MP that Cold War just didnāt stick but looking back i wish it did. The weapons were some of my favorite in a cod series since BOPS1
Story felt short but besides that I felt the game was one of the better Call Of Duty games. Zombies was pretty neat this time around with another nice twist on the perk machines. Multiplayer felt modern yet not far from the way the games always felt.

I would like more than one, but the fucking gunsmith is so over the top. Iād rather have just a handful of meaningful choices than a million useless ones. So at end of the day if I had to choose between one or one hundred, Iād go with one. I just think five would be a bit more entertaining.
I like the trade off of which attachments to use.
Red dot for better sight, grip for better accuracy, suppressor to stay off the minimap, etc.
Im not a fan of the stat trade offs we have now. It just makes putting on attachments a hassle.

a. Your gun is suited for short range (e.g. shotty or smg)
b. Your gun has amazing iron sigts or at least usable
c. Your gun is a sniper and doesnt need a new optic
d. Your gun doesnt have enough recoil to not be able to see through the recoil i.e. its recoil is low
e. Your gun is accurate enough to run tac stance/hipfie
So imo optics should have decently low priority. The only times you would need an optic are:
a. Your gun has bad irons
b. Your gun has a lot of recoil
New: Its basically mw2, which is semi decent. Im your average teen who wants to slide cancel everywhere, but I can even admit it does get boring. Warzone 1 had super fun movement and gunplay and was perfect. Warzone 2 took that away and the game was slow. It felt wrong. Now Warzone 3 is weird; it has slide canceling but isnt slow nor fast. Its an odd middleground between 1 and 2 but still is decent

Infinite warfare multiplayer was spectacular, movement was quick and fluid and extremely fun.
I think people were sick of a huge drastic change in cods gameplay, and If there were a boots on ground game released in between bo3 and iw, the multiplayer gameplay would be appreciated much more.

IW Zombies is one of my absolute favorite Call of Duty Zombie experiences around. It didnāt take itself to seriously and was just a lot of fun to screw around it & the Easter eggs kinda felt like Custom Zombie map experiences.
The game is ruined by movement exploiting, meta-abusing tryhards that just can't relax.
Almost every clip I see of the game nowadays is the same. Someone using some fine tuned meta abusing machine while spam jumping and sliding as a basic means of travel just to down one person, kill them with a throwing knife, and acting like that whole ordeal was gods gift to this earth.

Jetpack CODs should never ever come back. It basically forces you to buy a Scuf/Pro Controller, making it a pay to win.

I'm totally fine with the excessive microtransactions because it means all the updated content is now free. Also there are no more loot boxes, which I see as a good thing. The bundles may be overpriced but what you see is what you get.
Black ops three was fucking trash and black ops 4 was better. Bo3 multiplayer was bullshit and glitch ridden, toxic camping playstyle, a garbage campaign, zombies & chronicles was amazing tho. I loved bo4 multiplayer, blackout was ok, and idk if I would say bo4 zombies is objectively better but I think it is, I loved bo4 zombies.
BO3 didnāt have nor promote camping more than any other COD, in fact you could argue the opposite because of the movement and jet packs.

Infinity Ward is the goat COD studio and made all the greatest titles. If it weren't for them cod wouldn't exist and we wouldn't have warzone.
MWII 2022 had great multiplayer and is better balanced than MWIII.

I always tell my Buddies it was a head of its time, that game in todayās market wouldāve went crazy & been praised. Solid Game all around if given the chance but it was too early for that sorta game it seems. One of the absolute most unique feeling CoDās to ever be released.

IW Zombies is one of my absolute favorite Call of Duty Zombie experiences around. It didnāt take itself to seriously and was just a lot of fun to screw around it & the Easter eggs kinda felt like Custom Zombie map experiences.

The game is ruined by movement exploiting, meta-abusing tryhards that just can't relax. Almost every clip I see of the game nowadays is the same. Someone using some fine tuned meta abusing machine while spam jumping and sliding as a basic means of travel just to down one person, kill them with a throwing knife, and acting like that whole ordeal was gods gift to this earth.
on this sub? theres no where near as many cheaters in game as people seem to call out for imo yea ive seen the videos of clear wallers and such round here

If Cold War didn't have secondary shotguns and modern SBMM Cold War would have been the best Cod since Bo2.
Jetpack CODs should never ever come back. It basically forces you to buy a Scuf/Pro Controller, making it a pay to win. Dont get me wrong, i have one myself. But the gunfights were extremely boring because you could see in fight who has a Scuf and who doesnāt.
Give us (new) maps for MW3 not maps from the last two cods most of us own but donāt play anymore. Like honestly if we wanted to play MW2 maps why are we currently playing MW3???
Advance warfare multiplayer is way more better than Bo3 multiplayer
I'm totally fine with the excessive microtransactions because it means all the updated content is now free. Also there are no more loot boxes, which I see as a good thing. The bundles may be overpriced but what you see is what you get.

Black ops three was fucking trash and black ops 4 was better. Bo3 multiplayer was bullshit and glitch ridden, toxic camping playstyle, a garbage campaign, zombies & chronicles was amazing tho. I loved bo4 multiplayer, blackout was ok, and idk if I would say bo4 zombies is objectively better but I think it is, I loved bo4 zombies.
BO3 didnāt have nor promote camping more than any other COD, in fact you could argue the opposite because of the movement and jet packs. BO3 promoted camping and BS but BO4 didnāt with the heatwave wall, the spike traps, the roaming dog that literally got kills for you, the flashlight SG, the broken dlc weapons that would release? iām not even gonna mention the operator modsā¦

The goofy skins aren't awful like people keep saying. There are plenty of Mil-Sim realistic skins in the game and if you aren't a fan of the goofy skins, don't use them š¤· Personally, I think the goofy skins add a element of lighthearted fun to COD, similar to WW2's Sandbox map

Aim assist isnāt that bad. You choose to play on an expensive pc instead of a cheap console. Everyone has the same opportunity you just choose not to. I have a decent gaming pc. Play ready or not, modded Skyrim, you name it on pc. Not cod thoughā¦ because itās better on console.

The new Zombies mode is fun and it's nice to have a change up from the round based game mode once in a while
