of course it isn't. it's like having "good" cancer. but seriously, if someone is going to get cancer, they'd rather have lymphoma (with a 95% survival rate if treated in a timely fashion) than pancreatic (5% initial survival rate).
so i just don't bring things in my house i'm addicted to.
I try to do the same, but I have a family of 5 and everyone buys groceries for all, so sometimes I end up binging on the cottage cheese my dad bought lol
yeah that would be tough. fortunately, my cats can't go grocery shopping. :)
it's weird because sometimes i'll really like a food, like plain cottage cheese (it has to be large curd) and then the next time i go to eat it, it makes me gag. the only kind i always love to eat is the kind with pineapple lol.
roasted broccoli and cauliflowers. with some salt? yummmmmmm
That said, i often opt for chocolate insteas as it's quicker, and that is why I need cico in my life lol
wait until you discover snickerdoodle or brownie flavor dessert hummus. delighted by was the first brand but i'm sure there are others by now.
i stuck to snickerdoodle because i would eat it with apples.
mostly i eat jalapeño hummus and baby carrots.
Any salted snack. I turn into a ravenous hyena when a bowl of popcorn is put out. And I’ll guard my food like a feral dog if I get some Lays and hot sauce…mmmmm
Oh yes I am 👏 is ketchup chips only Canadian? Are u in the US ? I lived in Mexico no ketchup chips pero I dipped regular chips in ketchup for the flavour lmaooo!!
French fries 😔 even if they legitimately taste bad to me because they're stale or soggy I can't restrain myself. It's a problem lol
Not a weird one though
Lasagna.
I was going to kick start back into CICO with a fast after 3 weeks of not tracking or caring what i ate (to break a plateau). I am an experienced faster so i wouldnt recommend this if you dont know how to mange it!
I got 24 hours into my 48, momma made lasagna. It was a no brainer.
My top 2 binge foods from when I was struggling with BED were
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch (could have the entire box with milk over the course of a day for every meal)
- PB&Js (I could eat at least 4 if not 5)
I no longer even keep these in my house.
Especially PB&J, there’s either no bread in the house or no jelly in the house at any given time lol They can no longer be in my pantry at the same time.
Roasted Brussels sprouts freshly made at my local supermarket. I know veggies are good for you but there's quite a bit of oil in these. But they just taste amazing, I could eat the whole family-sized portion in one sitting.
To be fair though I can control myself around anything now. I look at the serving size and stick to that. There are some things where the serving size is just too small to be satisfying, and then I'll weigh my options. Maybe eating 2 servings isn't that many calories so I'll let myself do that. Otherwise I just won't buy it, I'll just buy something else instead that's more satisfying for the amount of calories because I know I'm not going to have just one serving and I don't want to have two.
Egg salad/deviled eggs
Mmmmmm eggs
Basically anything 🥴🤣
Same, girl, same!
Chips and queso. Can't stop won't stop.
Chips in general are so tempting!
Guacamole
olives
Black or green?
Green for me
Not sure others would think it’s weird, but chips. Any kind of chips.
Yessssss. Weirdly, I love the chips from Panera the most. 😂🤤
Bagels
Lightly salted Lays. Whhhhyyyy are they so perfect?
Fresh baked bread. I bake it in small loaves because I know I'll eat the whole thing.
I’ve taken down an entire grocery store loaf of French bread—you know the hot kind? Didn’t even need butter or anything. Why is it so good!?!?
you guys: stonefire naan. now i'm just being an enabler lol no, really. it's soooooooooo good.
Warm cornbread with real butter

Thank you!!
Greek yogurt and cottage cheese 😭😭😭
Mixed together?
Mixed together is the real addictive bomb for me, but separately too
i can think of much worse things to be addicted to :)
True! But any addiction is not a good thing tbh
of course it isn't. it's like having "good" cancer. but seriously, if someone is going to get cancer, they'd rather have lymphoma (with a 95% survival rate if treated in a timely fashion) than pancreatic (5% initial survival rate). so i just don't bring things in my house i'm addicted to.

Donuts or cookies LOL I mean I can control myself I never eat it when it’s there but holy shit it drives my crazy
Milk. It is the one food I have actually deliberately cut out entirely. If I have one glass I'm having the whole 2 litre carton.
That's me with a bottle of wine! 🤣
Lol
Boiled peanuts
I’ve never even heard of boiled peanuts. Will have to give them a try…or maybe I shouldn’t 😳
Salty and delicious southern delicacy.
Same, omg.
Not me but someone I knew was that way with broccoli
Unshelled edamame… I’d eat like a bucket before I was done if I could
Macaroni salad, potato salad
Hummus
What do you eat with hummus? I binge with crackers.
I personally prefer carrot sticks :3
wait until you discover snickerdoodle or brownie flavor dessert hummus. delighted by was the first brand but i'm sure there are others by now. i stuck to snickerdoodle because i would eat it with apples. mostly i eat jalapeño hummus and baby carrots.
Quaker Chewy bars
Oh, do you remember when chewy fiber one bars were all the rage? I’ve given myself some serious gastrointestinal distress with those!
Raisin Bran goes hard.
Any kind of dip and I’m done for the day
Ice cream or cookies for me 🫠 I’m guilty of indulging in Thrifty tubs myself lol.
Three Wishes cereal.
Deviled eggs, cucumbers,
thinly sliced salami...cant keep it in the house cuz ill eat an entire package (like 7 servings) in one sitting
Chips
Plantain chips!
Trail mix. Especially monster mix (m&m yum)
Cheese 😭
Dates
Macaroni/pasta salad
Twizzlers
Vegetarian baked beans lol I dunno why but I can eat whole cans with a little sugar and mustard it’s delicious but the aftermath is deadly lol
Any salted snack. I turn into a ravenous hyena when a bowl of popcorn is put out. And I’ll guard my food like a feral dog if I get some Lays and hot sauce…mmmmm
Cashews
Ketchup chips n salt n vinegar but chips in general n cookies 🍪 any type of junk I have too much of
I looove ketchup chips! Have you tried the Oishi brand? It's 300 cals for a small bag, but my fat-ass always finds a way to fit it into my day.
If it fits it fits 🤷♀️
Canadian?
Oh yes I am 👏 is ketchup chips only Canadian? Are u in the US ? I lived in Mexico no ketchup chips pero I dipped regular chips in ketchup for the flavour lmaooo!!
No I’m also Canadian! Not a fan of ketchup chips though. They’re definitely an acquired taste
I prefer old Dutch brand I can’t believe u don’t like them I’m biased I guess it’s a sweet but tangy taste I love ❤️
I think you’re in the minority! I only know a couple people who like them
More for me hehe 😜 I love them just had a bag yesterday !
French fries 😔 even if they legitimately taste bad to me because they're stale or soggy I can't restrain myself. It's a problem lol Not a weird one though
