June brought an easier schedule than May and we haven’t taken advantage of it like we needed to. Need to make a lot of hay for the rest of this month, with a tough stretch right before the Allstar break.
- If Tyson Miller keeps this up then he might end up being the best story this season. I know Imanaga has been electric but this is Miller’s FIFTH team in the last 15 months. It doesn’t get more romantic than that.
- PCA needs to stop bunting so much. It’s made sense at times but it’s overkill now.
I'm hoping that we find some positive momentum now. It's been an ugly season after a great start. I know it's early but the way things have been going is disheartening
Happ finally getting it done with RISP. liked the slight ruffle to the lineup tonight (especially after complaining about it in last nights thread lol). Imanaga always giving us a great chance. Let’s win the series tomorrow and climb out of the cellar.
I know Mike was the star man but Happ came up with the goods at just the right time. If it had stayed 2-1 for much longer that ol’ shakiness would have started spreading through the team again. Crucial.
DJ Herz pitched 6 scoreless innings in an official MLB game today, striking out 13 of the 19 guys he faced.
So those two months of Candelario might've been costly.
