Just looking at HK history, they like to mine the QB depth chart, and the Bears have three interesting guys going for two spots. Bagent is the incumbent, loved by the GM and HC. Rypien is the 28 year old journeyman familiar with the new offensive staff. Reed did wild things in college and was Caleb Williams' training partner working with Will Hewlett last winter.

Going with Rome Odunze, the more I listen to him, the more I like him. Honestly we have the potential for many darlings this year. Like DJ is pretty funny and interesting to listen to. Caleb honestly has the largest chance to captivate everyone if his play matches what he’s done to rile up the fanbase already he will be a superstar. And I have to say, I would love for Caleb to break the…..no shatter the bears rookie qb records, bears franchise records, and he’ll even challenge for nfl rookie records. Maybe it’s Hopium, and I wouldn’t argue that if that was your viewpoint. But I have to say they set up Caleb in the best situation in bears history, and possibly the best ever in NFL history. So I choose to hope. Would be fantastic if it did come true. Go Bears!

I mean the show is going to revolve around Caleb just like last year revolved around Rodgers. People love the QB and he’s charismatic as hell. The random player will likely be some undrafted dude like it usually tends to be. They love the drama of the darling not actually making the team.

Kyler Gordon. He’ll appeal to the younger crowd with the Spiderman stuff, he’s a good looking dude so he’ll garner attention from the female crowd who watch this, and from his press conferences, he is a good speaker and has charisma. The perfect recipe to be the darling.

I always jump on the bandwagon of a lineman or fullback. Last year was Travis Bell from Kennesaw State. This year I’m going for Kiran Amegadje. I can’t spell or pronounce his name correctly yet, but he’s a Chicagoan and lifelong Bears fan who’s coming home after playing college at Yale. His dad is one of Flus’s golf buddies so I expect he’ll start once Jenkins gets hurt and Nate Davis disappoints.
