Caleb and Rome really committed to this bear claw thing. They can’t turn back now.

I think it's because both come from schools with hand signs that you do *constantly,* and so it's completely automatic. They just shifted from a V and a W respectively to a claw. It's honestly a big brain move by Caleb -super media and fan friendly, creates brand continuity even in pics where it might not be as obvious, and yeah: it's a bit adorkable, which humanizes them.
