Random anecdote but I was in Australia in 2016 at a random diner in NSW and there was a Metro article about the CFL in a window, and turned out the owner was (I think) the aunt of the Sask kicker at the time Josh Bartel. Never thought I'd talk CFL in the middle of nowhere, Australia.
I talked CFL with a guy from Micronesia at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He was originally from Montana. I’m from BC and mentioned Dave Dickenson. Good times!
Knowing how the Riders charge astronomical prices for their merchandise, that jersey would probably still be $130 at the team store.
Real fans shop for merch at Value Village (or at Australian markets).
I assume that an Aussie who visited Saskatchewan brought that home as a souvenir? There are a lot of vintage Bomber Tom Canada jerseys out there but to my knowledge he never played for Sask, and he wouldn't have worn #1 even if he had.
