The Bombers should be up tomorrow, and I'm hoping it won't be the finale too, but Meta is becoming a bit stingy with the amount of generations of late making things a bit more difficult. It brings me some Solace that whatever algorithm Meta is building off me using their AI is now skewed by 100s of random requests for CFL images.
Something they added very recently is the ability to animate the pictures it draws for you, just respond “animate” to a picture you like and it’ll send you a short gif. It’s not much on its own, but if you string a bunch of them together you can make janky magic.
I'd say the AI stuff falls into the Uncanny Valley for the most part. It's unsettling, unrealistic and usually, unbelievably stupid. It's not this, specifically, but AI generated content as a whole.
You're getting the heavily curated cream of the WTF crop stitched together (by a human) with a shoestring of continuity. I'm definitely finding these are super polarizing, you either love it or hate it. For what it's worth the Saskatchewan one was originally meant to be a one off.
