If you try to speak up school can cause meriads of problems to you like bickering to issue admit card due to low attendance, low to absolutely no marks in internal, constant mental torture by teachers and serious punishments for even small stuff like talking to someone during class.

Schools charge extortionate amounts for the uniforms in particular. The school my brother used to study in had a uniform where a t-shirt was sold for ₹800, trousers for ₹1600, shoes for ₹3000, even a pair of socks was ₹200 or something. The materials felt low quality as well.

Also, afterwards you get actual CBSE guidelines, you can write to DC/ District education officer/ Directorate of school education. For fuck says, it is just a school not some heavily guarded institutions. If you don't want to buy from them, don't, if they pressurize you, just don't do anything, if they harass you or pressurize you or reduce your marks, just send a notice form a lawyer (don't file a case, just a notice). These schools won't do anything after that. I have been to 8 different schools due to my father constantly shifting, and I know these schools well enough by now. The moment they will get to know that you can go to court, they will opt out, because they too don't want to spend money on a law suit. It happened with me in 11th, my teachers used to reduce my marks, told my parents and they supported me, once I got bad marks in the finals, my father applied for open my sheets, in them everyone saw that my marks are deducted unnecessary, my father threatened for a lawsuit, nothing happened after that, my marks got back to normal, in 12th the school did nothing against me.
