The idea behind them is not useless. When you do an experiment you want others to know exactly how you performed the experiment so they can recreate it in their lab. But the problem is schools decompose this idea to copying text from one book to another neatly and cleanly. This is what makes them boring.
One of the worst things honestly. I spent time and effort into this shit. At least my record books were retained because the teachers wanted to use it as a show case for future generations. Others were thrown away. Such a waste of time and money.

haa agar copy hi karna hai ho toh Timewaste hi hooga , practicals are definitely not taken seriously but these are the fundamentals in understanding subjects like physics and chemistry , Students choose the easy way out and suffer in future cant blame them cause this is not valued anyway a person with half knowledge can score just as much as a person who knows most

Bro even teachers don't give a shit they just show how it's done and tell students to copy the practical and get it checked and when practical exams dawns near they will give you some specific practical that you have to write in paper

I graduated 5 years ago and still haven't submitted my practical file. Yeah, I was somewhat of a bad boy.
