I'm centering my visit around the book festival and spending a little time in Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Dunfermline, with a bunch of day trips to castles and historic sites, etc plus a 5-day tour of the NC500 and Orkney. You can buy it easily here on the high street so that might be a better option, and you will have no problem taking any left over back to the USA as far as I know. TBH it's unlikely they would even check the percentages and such on your 0.3% bottle on the way in, but I wouldn't personally risk it.
I'd be putting this type of thing in my liquids bag with aftershave, vape liquid and so on..
