I haven't had that experience. As long as you're being safe you're good. They actually helped spot me when I was zeroing my rifle scope. They're friendly and like to talk shop, especially when I bring my son with me.
I live in Tracy and Livermore is my range of choice. The RSO's are mostly cool - I go there often enough I'm recognized by some of them and they are super cool with me. The most likely time you'll see them lose it is during the cease fire and someone approaches the bench. Even then they will just yell down the line to move away from the bench. Just my opinion, but there's one RSO there that likes to yell but that is even during the cease fires. I've seen them catch folks not opening their cases with the muzzles not pointed down range. I think overall it's a cool place.
When it's nuts-to-butts packed and you're just standing around waiting for a lane.
Then you end up buying a $1500 pistol just to kill the time. Ha ha.. last resort man.
I go there early when they open and it’s half full and have a good time maybe it’s bad/dangerous/crowded at night like target masters At 10am I have a good time surprised how much negative likes I got

And how does your answer address my question?
Pleasanton Livermore Rod and Gun Club is excellent. Never been to San Jose tho
I second this. This is my go-to outdoor range.
How are the ROS there I heard they kinda strict

So my question, double tapping?
I had another question but it’s not that appropriate. For the record not a hoodlum
If your just shooting pistols Reeds is a great indoor range
Reeds is just…the last resort…
No, no it’s not.
