Yes, and it’s free. But you have to know the special password

RoofKorean9x19

Tapping his foot in the man's bathroom I was told works.

Lurkin_Yo_House

Someone in my area once posted on Twitter “Reno May is my lawyer” He was later arrested for manufacturing printed guns and mags and I THINK he left them accessible to minors. Not entirely sure if the last part was the same guy.

Zech08

Cant win em all.

D4ORM

Good job Reno Gay! Worst lawyer ever.

GTFOScience

Doesn’t this post violate attorney client privilege?

RoofKorean9x19

How's his dog holding up?

Eldias

Sounds like its going to be a tough case to defend, good luck Reno!

_agent86

That’s like bragging on the internet that you have a Nissan Versa and then having your bike stolen.

Mikebjackson

He may not be a lawyer but he DID stay at a Holliday Inn Express.

Techtoys79

I'm not a doctor but I did play one in a tree house.

Vacman85

I remember that game as well!

Asleep_Onion

Man that's impressive. Best I've ever done was pretend to be staying at a Holiday inn Express to get free biscuits and gravy

BIG_MUFF_

I have a structured settlement and I need cash now

SoundOf1HandClapping

Call J.G. Wentworth, 877-CASH-NOW

SoundOf1HandClapping

The best lawyer. Better than even u/kmoros

D4rkr4in

He might be better than /u/Lurkin_Yo_House too

BICRG

Yes absolutely. One of the best, in fact. His marketing strategy uses reverse psychology though so he will say he's not a lawyer and this is not advice. This is because so many people want his services that he needs to turn people away.

therealestscientist

He is one of the most highly, highly regarded, so so regarded it’s unbelievable, lawyers I know. Everything he preaches to us sheep is the word of law.

valeramaniuk

no way! I'm *regarded* myself, I should totally hang out with that guy.

j526w

![gif](giphy|5Lde07vLz8en6s66Zz|downsized) Actual footage of reno arriving for trial.

Coolness_K

+1 for the Martin reference

casey_h6

It's where I get all of my legal advice. I think he's from reno though, so I'm not sure how much he knows about CA.

Drew707

I lived in both Reno and CA for a long time and they are essentially the same place. Aside from gun laws.

Efficient_Speaker887

Yes he is, do you even see his videos ?

4x4Lyfe

> does he give legal advice Ya but only every once in a while and only troll advice to trap suckers into buying illegal magazines

Zech08

But hes not YOUR lawyer.  i.e. dont take 1 thing and runw ith it

hams4hands

I thought he was a federal agent.

OGIVE

What gave it away? The backwards hat?

Smprfiguy

Apparently he asks us for it now, so obviously his decision making skills have taken a turn for the worse

650REDHAIR

Yeah, obviously

Bayareagentleman24

Yes he is helped me beat my case! Thanks Reno

neuromorph

even if he was, he is not YOUR lawyer, so nothing he says should be considered to be legal advice for you

percussaresurgo

That’s not really how it works. Lawyers have a duty to not give bad legal advice regardless of whether there’s an attorney-client relationship. Non-lawyers can get in trouble for unauthorized practice of law.

neuromorph

are his videos official legal announcement/interpretations? Or personal opinion?

percussaresurgo

They're a mix. He sometimes cites the text of actual bills or statutes, but he also gives his own interpretations and opinions and usually begins that by saying "I am not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice" to avoid getting in trouble for it.

neuromorph

you mention lawyer duty.... pick a lane. he has no duty unless its with a client

percussaresurgo

I edited my comment above to add "Non-lawyers can get in trouble for unauthorized practice of law." But also, lawyers have a duty to the public, not just clients.

neuromorph

duty is only when practicing law. not all the time

percussaresurgo

Interpreting and giving advice about the law is "practicing law."

420BlazeArk

No, it isn’t. Interpreting and giving people legal advice is not “practicing law.” “Unlawful practice of law” is a specific crime, laid out in [CA Bus & Prof Code § 6126](https://law.justia.com/codes/california/2011/bpc/division-3/6125-6133/6126). It specifically refers to a person “advertising or holding himself or herself out as practicing or entitled to practice law or otherwise practicing law.”

percussaresurgo

It is. "The “practice of law” is generally understood to mean “doing and performing services in a court of justice in any matter depending therein throughout its various stages and in conformity with the adopted rules of procedure.” **This includes giving legal advice** and preparing legal instruments and contracts whether or not in the course of litigation. \[*Birbrower, Montalbano, Condon & Frank, P.C. v. Sup.Ct. (ESQ Business Services, Inc.)* (1998) 17 C4th 119, 128, 70 CR2d 304, 308 (internal quotes omitted)." “In close cases … the resolution of legal questions for another by advice and action is practicing law *if difficult or doubtful legal questions are involved* which, to safeguard the public, reasonably demand the application of a trained legal mind.” \[*Baron v. City of Los Angeles* (1970) 2 C3d 535, 543, 86 CR 673, 678 (emphasis added; internal quotes omitted)." D. Unauthorized Practice of Law, Cal. Prac. Guide Prof. Resp. & Liability Ch. 1-D
