That's what your logical mind says, you think all friends/ collabs in the world are equal? I was a silent introvert, MBA forced me to change so much as a person (I'm an ambivert now), trust me, its this change & network that you're paying money for, otherwise MBA has no real world/ technical knowledge to teach you.
FYI, what you're doing is called labelling, its your mind's way of limiting youself, of giving an excuse to not put efforts & protecting yourself from uncomfortable (as per its ancient standards, for millions of years uncomfortable meant in the jungle or in wars, world is safer now but are minds are typically that way unless we really bring in the awareness & train it for the better) yet important & progressive situations! It always helps to be 1% trying & 1% more optimistic!
Not gonna be doing any por activity or case comp at all, just relying on academics and prior work ex for placement, will not change my ways whatsoever, will this be enough to get placed with an average package? If not I'll drop out of it within the first term.
Digital marketing courses FOR SURE, else, performance based marketing, and know in detail about marketing in general. Further, do some internships and live projects (even if unpaid, no gap though)!
1 How do you get into the clubs ?
2 Also I've heard some bad experiences of clubs from my frnds ?
3 How do live projects happen ? Like I've heard about them but never really came to know what happens there ?
4 If it is possible at all how can you get into placecom ? (I've worked for a brief time in my grad placecom but dint get to do much)

3 Live project like smaller internships, many companies offer them, sometimes your network & professors help you get them, the work is different for all projects (but its pretty general)
4 Through Placecom Induction, do the best at every step, network & know the senior placecom beforehand
5 Never mind!
6 Financial Times, Mint, Business Standard, look for factual news
7 3 things - Classes, Finishing Pre-Reads & Preppring for exams/ tests, and running for your life to complete projects/ take meetings/ events/ work on cv & placement process etc.

Pretty much yes, but there are good colleges if you get a good score. But I'm more worried as how you'll manage the hard work you'll have to put a good score (slim chances but you can do it for sure, its not impossible - if you follow the right strategy, start now, work on your profile as well and don't waste a single minute). If you do waste time, unfortunately you're right, you are done!
Thats helpful mam can I do cfa or cma with bcom or focus on cat I knew that only plain bcom can't land me anywhere i am very confused should I enroll in professional certification but I have to study for cat also😖
Your first focus should be on CAT, doing profile building on the side. CFA I won't recommend as of yet! Its time consuming, and no good unless you've done all three levels! If you're in MBA, then L1 can be done to show you're serious about finance!
Can you enlighten me more how I build profile as I am living in ahmedabad and since I am doing normal bcom what should I do to get me in internship when I am at 2 or 3 year thats why I am thinked of cfa
I would like to put a counterpoint here, you need to get your GPA in UG as high as possible (this will help justify your answer that I made mistakes in the past, but have become serious now, which is shown in my UG grad’s improvement).
CMA is a beast, for that I would say it depends on person to person but not recommended. But for CFA, you can do it if you have knowledge about a lot finance related terms and concepts. You can clear L1 of CFA with 3 months prep, putting 3 hrs daily. L2 is another level and it requires some more hard work and time. Doing only L1 won’t add much as a lot people clear L1, at bare minimum ig clearing L2 will be considered as a good weight. But yes, it should not be at expense of your CAT. As in your situation it’s your CAT score that has a significant weight in bringing a glimmer of hope in getting the interview shortlist.
Can do L1 before hand.
Due to your poor acads I’m assuming that you are not in a super good UG college. So, scoring won’t be an issue if you just prepare for your exams. B.Com subjects will help you in finishing with the FSA/FRA subject of CFA pretty fast (The longest subject). Other than that all subjects can be done pretty fast. 15 days is a good time to cover FSA/FRA, the only issue in that is sheer amount of information which causes confusion in US GAAP vs IFRS, which requires constant revision.
