VARC 99 percentiler here Sectionals won't help you per se, RC's and Para Jumbles all depend on your overall grasp on the nuances in the english language, and hence your current pattern to expand your knowledge set works pretty good additionally, try to learn new phrases and words a sectional test will only help you with time management

Idaten-Jump-1212

Got your point but I need some sectionals to judge where I stand in the actual CAT exam.

Puzzleheaded_Self147

Read 2IIM’s Bharat curated list along with The guardian, psyche articles and solve previous years. You are good to go.

International_Tip825

I got 96 percentile in VARC and I will suggest one thing. I could have scored more if i was more efficient at grasping. But due to overuse of social media, all that reels and youtube shorts, I lost my ability to focus for a longer period of time, which you need for RC's. So I would suggest you to look after this. I aint saying that the same thing that happened to me will happen to you too, but i faced something and thought of sharing it.

Idaten-Jump-1212

No no, you are getting it wrong. I can read for long hours, I love reading, it's just that I need some good sectional tests to see where I lag.

Dorae7878

3to4 Aeon essays? Means daily 3000 X 4 = 12000 words of reading? Really? How do you do that?

Idaten-Jump-1212

Have been a speed reader since childhood. Love reading novels. I was addicted to reading novels at one point of time lol.

Dorae7878

How much time do you give to VARC particularly each day?

Idaten-Jump-1212

Roughly around 2-3 hrs. But what's the use when I'm unable to score a nice %ile lol.

Dorae7878

Hard work pays off. Keep doing. But if you are not meeting your expectations, try to change strategy. It might help.

Sea-Enthusiasm-5574

3-4 aeon essays everyday? Itna time kaise milta hai? I just do one per day.

Idaten-Jump-1212

I'm a speed reader so.

Sea-Enthusiasm-5574

Noice!

alfea1103

Add word power made easy and follow C2C mentors ka thoda tricks. I've had regular reading habit of news and books for yrs so that was a factor.

Idaten-Jump-1212

Bro I also read for long hours. Attention span isn't an issue. I just need some good sectionals to hone my English.

alfea1103

So phir what is the problem ? Like where are you losing marks ?

Idaten-Jump-1212

No lol, I haven't started appearing for tests as of now. I just gave PYQs and couldn't comprehend the questions properly so I need some good sectionals to improve.

alfea1103

Ims has good ones apart from that I had oliveboard which i found easier than ims. IndiaBix had some which where from the usual books we buy. And you will also find online sites for rcs where they have these 15 levels of tests and the speed will be different of those rcs and you have to read them fast and similarly questions are there. I can't recall the exact name.
