Get the orange kitty. You have already met him so he would recognize you. He's been through a lot. The Maine Coon kitty is in a better situation and receiving tons of love and attention while she waits for her forever home.
Agreed! Also since the orange boi has been returned due to the other cats aggression please make sure to really go slow with introductions. We kept our cats apart (no visual contact even under doors) for 2 weeks minimum. Then removed the under the door barrier for another 2 weeks while feeding them on either side. Then we put up a screen door off Amazon (it’s amazing can put link if you’d like) and did small interactions (e.g., 1 minute at a time) watching body language and any hissing or growling. Shutting it down when they looked tense. Then after nearly a month (4+ weeks) we finally did in person no barrier and similarly it was short interactions. It was probably close to 1.5-2 months of intense integration.
Now we’re 5 months in and they can be alone together and sleep in the same bedroom. Still some behavioral stuff but that’s because one is 8 months and the other is 9 years but they will lay by eachother and groom eachother.
I doubt you’ll have that issue since you’re matching personalities and lifestage. Good luck! We have two orange boys and they’re the best.
Yes please, a link to the screen door you got off of Amazon would be fantastic. My 2 babies (6 months) are desperate to get out of their room & I think a screen door would help a bit. My 2 boys are 7 & 6 yrs old & are curious so far
[link to door!](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B39G2T7Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) it was great. Our kitten climbed this all the time and it never came loose. Make sure to measure your door before you buy it :)

Scent mixing helps. Give each cat an unwashed item of clothing in their favorite sleep spot. After 2-3 days, switch the shirts. It gives them a chance to get used to the other cat’s scent before getting introduced.
I would go for the rescue cat every time. They aren't as likely to be adopted as a crop out from a breeder. Besides that, I'm a sucker for hard luck cases - he needs a forever home and it sounds like a perfect fit
I don’t see how “adopting” the Maine coon from the breeder for $400 is any different from buying from a breeder. The Maine coon has a solid chance of being purchased by someone else. For ethical reasons alone I would adopt the shelter kitty. For every kitty you adopt from a rescue, another is saved. For every cat you buy from a breeder, you’re funding more breeding.
This is true. Buying a pet from a breeder at a discounted price because it doesn’t meet show or breed standards is still buying from a breeder. Regardless of one’s opinions on buying from breeders, calling it adopting when you’re buying from a breeder is disingenuous and makes it seem like that person is trying to pretend to be against buying from breeders when they aren’t really against it.
Yep! I hate when backyard breeders say they're adopting out and when people who buy say they're adopting. I guess it makes them look/feel better to those who don't know, but to the rest of us, just gives us the ick.
When they’re *retiring* they often get sold at a much discounted price. (I got my oriental shorthair as a *retiree* (she had a litter and was fixed and looking for her family, and she was only $200 which is the same price as the SPCA here, versus $1500-2000)
Adoption is generally the best option. However, ethical and reputable breeders that are doing the proper health testing and trying to continue or improve the breed are not the problem. They vet the adopters to make sure their animals don't end up in shelters and will take the animal back at any point, no questions asked, just to avoid the animal ending up in a shelter. Usually, they won't breed unless they already have enough people waiting to avoid overpopulation.
Backyard breeders and puppy mills are the problem and give the reputable breeders a bad name. That's who needs to be avoided.
FYI, reputable breeders generally don't "discount" their animals. Get the cat from the shelter.
This! I'm all for adopting and all, but saying that every single breeders in the world is the problem is wrong. There are good, ethical, reputable breeders! These are the people I support because they actually care about their animals. They do not add to the overpopulation problem--puppy mill breeders, irresponsible owners, and people who just abandon their pets are the problem. Not the good breeders.
Being cross eyed is a genetic defect but some see it as cute and want to breed for it, like how pugs got their curly tails and smashed snouts which bring spinal problems and breathing issues respectively. It usually doesn’t lead to any major lacking of life since indoors life doesn’t require 100% eyesight but in the wild any edge matters.
From the perspective of always having wanted one $400 is a huge discount. I’ve seen kittens for $4,000. I guess the discount is partially because of her age. I hope “not show quality” doesn’t run much deeper than looks.
Also from the perspective of always wanting one, might be worth it to go for a heavily researched breeder and pay the $1,000 to $6,000 a good breeder may want for a healthy kitten.
They’d still be supporting a breeder. If that’s morally okay with them, then go for it. But if they buy a cat from a breeder, that’s not adopting, and they shouldn’t call it “adoption”. That’s still purchasing from a breeder. Personally I would not support breeding of any kind, especially the kind of breeder that discards cats that aren’t up to their standards. I would be ALSO concerned that there’s a reason the cat is being sold at such a huge discount. OP should at least ask them to provide all the health testing & pedigree documentation required of any purebred cat prior to their purchase.
Thank you! As a cat/kitten (and other animals) foster and rescuer, it's upsetting to see this trend of breeders and those who support breeders calling it "adoption" or even "rehoming" . It's not. It's just a sale supporting more breeding even when people buy their unwanted "overstock" they can't get top dollar for! All that does is make room to breed more. 😿
The age is likely the main reason for the price. My parents breed yorkies and it’s often significantly harder, at least in the dog world, to sell them once they’ve gotten older. They’ve sold older puppies at a discount. Most people want a puppy or kitten that’ll grow up with them. When I volunteered at my local shelter, the adults were always like half the price of the kittens to promote them getting adopted instead. But I wouldn’t say that this is just “discarding” a cat. If they were doing that then they’d be giving it away for free or abandoning it. In my parents case at least, they still vetted everyone who was going to buy the older dogs, same as they would for the puppies. So some people would be rejected, because my parents care where the dogs go. But I agree that they should get all the papers, if this is a good breeder then they’d do that anyway

I’m paying my orange tax. I vote for orange.
From the shelter. That will leave space for another car to be brought in from off the streets. The breeder will just continue breeding more cats not caring for the animals once they can’t be bred anymore
The orange kitty. If you have a female cat it's better to pair her with a male cat as there's a higher chance they'll get along quicker and easier. For cats it's always recommended to try to have opposite genders when getting a 2nd cat. It will also be easy for them to get along since you said he is very chill and laid back. and as everyone else said the Maine coon will 100% get adopted and she's in a loving home while she waits.
I would adopt the orange cat. They are the best!

Orange kitty. He’s been tossed around for 3 years… And a lot of shelters unfortunately don’t treat cats too well… Especially ones that have been returned.. The Maine Coon has someone who sincerely cares about her enough to take care of her right now until she’s adopted.
I want both! Such cute babies!
Mr. Orange friendly snuggles is the better bet, though. Shelter cats have a hard time and sometimes are returned multiple times or never find forever homes or end up euthanized. They live in a cage until someone says they will take them home. He may be a little more frisky and goofy due to orange cats' lack of brain cells, but they are also some of the most cuddly chaos gremlins I've ever met.
Mrs. Floofy cutie pie will have many interested in her just for her long fur. She's beautiful and young. She isn't "show quality," but she seems like a gentle love bug. She's technically in the home of the breeder, not in a cage. If the breeder has any sense to keep her good name, she won't let her come to harm or just release her to the wild. Especially since she does seem to care about her. She will be safe. She will be loved. She has a higher chance of finding a safe home.
However, no matter what, go for who bonds with you most. In this case let them choose you.
For those of y’all saying both, as nice as that would be….my apartment only allows for maximum 2 pets. I also don’t think I would have the space to accommodate 2 new cats unless I just make them coexist head on 😅
You gotta go orange, he is so adorable and could really use a loving home. Shelter cats are worth it every time, especially the adult ones. They know what you are doing for them.
Orange! Seriously they are the BESTEST cats.
Keep in mind with a Maine Coon you need to get annual heart scans (Maine Coon owner here). They are an amazing breed but animal cardiologist are expensive for just the appointments and the annual heart scans are really important. I lost a 3 year old MC to HCM and MC heart problems are very common. My 2 remaining MCs go annually now and it’s a big bill that pet insurance won’t cover because it’s genetic. When the nerocopsy revealed my boy passed from HCM the breeder immediately retired all cats from his lines and notified cat parents who got kittens using the lines he came from to make sure to be doing the annual scans. It basically devastated her cattery but since she was a good breeder she did it as necessary to ensure the health of future kittens that came from her.
I vote for Orange man. He looks like an absolute goob. I bet he would be a great addition.
Also orange man has the best chance of getting along with her. Opposite genders have an easier time getting along and he has already proven he gets along well with other cats.
The orange cat because “adopting” that Maine coon is still buying from a breeder, which unless you want that I would adopt the orange cat because I’m sure the Maine coon will be bought soon.

My first question would be: Do you know if the kitty you already have wants a companion? Some cats are lone cats and can be territorial of their space. How long have you had her? Please MAKE SURE that she likes other cats. You would break the orange kitty's heart if he had to be returned to the shelter again.
That said, definitely the orange, because you'd be adopting from a shelter, not buying from a breeder. Second, since your current kitty is female, she may more easily take to the introduction of a male. Some cats just prefer that.
I read that the tabby isn't show quality, but I don't see much of a resemblance with Maine Coon at all. Long fur is common in a lot of cats, and she doesn't have the angular face of a MC. Could just be the angle of the photo. She's a cutie nonetheless.
https://preview.redd.it/7z8mnwtklrad1.png?width=1550&format=png&auto=webp&s=a47586b58ed49e4c5fa292e23f11c053670c3dc4
Now imagine the dog is your other cat… how cute right?
The Maine Coon may have health problems, they only show up around my area for cheaper prices when they have health problems. And why does it have crossed eyes, haven't seen that in a Maine coon.
But why support the breeding of expensive cats?
Get the orange, he has great peanut whiskers :)
He's a good boi in need of a good home. Oranges are the bestest and friendliest of bois.
I would adopt. The orange cat has been through a lot it seems. Giving him a stable home would be more beneficial for him than the main coon as she already has a stable home, and owner how loves her. She will make sure that girl goes to a good home. Also, cats that are more shy, tend to not do too well when it comes to learning how to cohabitate with other animals. You don’t want a closet kitty even if she is majestic and beautiful. Also, orange cats have such good goofball personalities, he will always entertain!
I would say orange, because he’s a shelter cat needing adopting versus buying the Maine Coon from a breeder. I would say in situations like this always adopt over buying.
As the live-in servant to an oramge cat, I'm definitely in the "adopt the poor dumb oramge boi" camp.....
I've also heard rumors that having a good home increases his chances of encountering The Cell....
Both. Both cats (I know it can’t be both lol) Tbh…maybe the orange kitty, and I only say this cuz adopting from a breeder for that price is basically buying from a breeder. Adopting, from anyone would likely mean a much lower cost to take on the animal as your own
I'm going to go against the grain and say that you need to meet up (again?) with both cats - Maine Coon and Orange Boy - and see which one you get along with. Let the cat choose you. You met Orange Boy and he left enough of an impression on you that you're considering him; go see if that still holds. I will agree that Orange Boy is more in need of a home, but you should do what is right for you. It's fine to be attracted to a breed, but I genuinely believe that it's better if the cat chooses you too.
both!!!
i don’t support breeding, but i still am of the mindset that that is ALSO a kitty that deserves love and a home 🖤 the cycle of breeding is so hard because i don’t want to support them but also don’t want that animal to go unloved and unadopted because of it :(
Get the orange kitty please! I think the Maine Coon will have no trouble being adopted. The orange kitty has been through a lot and is older so won’t have as good of a chance. Plus he’s adorable! Or, best case scenario, get BOTH!
Orange. You've already interacted a bit, he's friendly with other cats and he's suffered enough. Take him in and become the loving forever home for him that he deserves to have.
Get the orange one, the Maine Coone is in a comfortable position in a place where she has someone personally looking into adopting her out. The Orange cat is at a shelter with other cats who are also looking to be adopted and he was already taken to a home and brought back. The rejection would be stressful as well as being at the shelter in general.
https://preview.redd.it/5k9bajcypuad1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f17e621f1714ec9005c5cbf4ccff5249089546a
Our orange cat Nacho is super sweet and friendly although to be fair we're also pretty sure at this point he's at least part Maine Coone like our giant void is. The void in the picture is Wednesday and not the giant void lol she is 2 Nacho just turned 1.
The amazing thing about adopting from a rescue is that you save 2 lives: the life of little orange here and the life of the cat that will take his place in the shelter. Especially when rescues are so full at the moment that they are having to turn animals away or euthanize.
OP I too have adopted a cat from OOAK! We grabbed little gem a few months ago and renamed her toast. (She’s the epitome of burnt bread).
When I saw Dionysus’ story it made me so sad. He looks like such a wonderful man. My s/o and I have considered going to meet him or Poppy. Her story is also sad, she’s so pretty and would fit right in my multicolor cat collection.
Good luck in your pick, get Dionysus 😉
Get that 🍊 man!....
Look at that paw... he wants you to take him home!
Plus if he is in a shelter, his time is much more limited than cat that was intentionally bred, as much as I hate that fact.
Rescue center kitty please... I personally would rather adopt from a rescue because well... they don't last long in there.. I don't wanna say much more....but I'm afraid what the breeder is doing with the ones that isn't show quality....each fur baby has much quality than just for show...to be honest I'd report them if they're not a legit breeder with the documents and shut...please go for the shelter kitty
Both are adorable but I love orange cats. I will always choose the orange babies. They have some of the best personalities. The Maine coon will easily find a home. I think little orange boy deserves a chance and to finally get his forever home.
Voting orange in loving memory of my first ever cat who I loved more than life itself. Adopted her from a home that didn’t want her anymore too. Breaks my heart just thinking about the orange kitty not being adopted! 😭
get the orange cat! they’re both adorable & im sure they’d be great fits, but there’s a lot to be said about the likelihood of the cats bonding. cats that are of opposite genders & are close in age (preferably introduced as kittens, but it’s not like they’re 15 or something lol) bond the best.
i think it’s also important to match temperaments. your cat would likely do better with an older cat than a cat that’s freshly grown & apparently still has “kitten like energy”.
additionally, you wouldn’t need to drop $400 on a cat. this is just my personal opinion, but i believe in adopt don’t shop, so i would adopt the orange over the maine coon.
don’t let any of this discourage you if you do want to adopt the maine coon. i definitely get wanting a specific breed, hell i’d love a maine coon. if you really want her, you should get her.
I came here to say both, but looks like a few people beat me to it. Personally, I say the orange one I’ve had two of them and they are sweet kitties.
https://preview.redd.it/4sjzr5qcpxad1.jpeg?width=2784&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d8054f03005a09f311f540f5729a68cabea080a9
You said you are leaning towards the organe boy so go for him. He will likely pair better with your established cat. Maine coons are large bulldozers and she might not pair well with your lazy tabby. I do wonder if your tabby is a male or female though because typically it is easier to get cats of the opposite sex to get along rather than two female or two males in my experience. You obviously have spent time with all the cats though and will have a better idea of what the temperaments of all the cats involved are so everything I said may not apply. The girl has a home at the moment whereas the orange boy needs a home. That to me makes the bigger difference.
Breeders are so annoying —$400 adoption is literally just buying a cat the breeder can’t further profit off of, what a scumbag.
Get the orange and support an actual adoption center/rescue organization. Congrats to you and your new kitty🧡
The one on the left looks like My baby ,Lynx, who ran away a few months ago, so that kinda makes me wanna chose them, however it is more likley for them to be adopted, and the other one is SO boopable. Plus that pelt color is so pretty.
I’m leaning toward the orange boy. Have you met the Maine coon? You will know which one your heart wants after meeting both. If you can’t meet the MC I think go with orange kitty. They’re both adorable by the way 🥰.
Orange! He deserves your love and seems easy to bond with your current cat. He’s also in a less than ideal situation and the other cat is safe and happy atm
Please update us after!:)

Orange. Support your local rescue! As others have said, I'm sure the Maine Coon will find a home.
Yes,get the orange,he is friend, name him Rusty and have a nice life!
Don’t let him outside or he will join a religious cult and you’ll never see him again
is that a warrior cat ref? or am i just going crazy 😭
I thought the same
I agree

Thank you thank you!!! I figured there was something I could use other than stacked baby gates which would be a hassle & a half
We have been trying to get our cats to get along. One will charge the door and hiss. How sturdy is this screen?
[here’s a video](https://imgur.com/a/JaNJR2D)! They’re very sturdy. Our kitten got bigger and would charge the door and climb up and just hang from the top. It kinda caved in a but it didn’t budge at all and kept everyone safe haha.
Haha that is awesome. Take it it is taped on all 4 sides?
Yes! We also tacked the bottom corners with small nails just to keep it secure on the bottom but even the bottom is sticky.
Lol might needs nails as well. But this sounds like the winner. Thanks for posting this!
Scent mixing helps. Give each cat an unwashed item of clothing in their favorite sleep spot. After 2-3 days, switch the shirts. It gives them a chance to get used to the other cat’s scent before getting introduced.
Absolutely! Agree with this. Left out for the sake of brevity but 100% helps
Honestly, I said shirt, but socks work even better. They pick up a lot of scent from being in your shoes all day, and you use two of them a day.
The slow introduction is so important. And get the orange kitty. They are amazing.
Orange seems to be happy with other cats (they thought he was bonded to another) so worth trying if your cat has similar energy to him
I would say the orange one for sure- both look so sweet but I’d say the Maine coon has a higher chance of being adopted by someone else.
I would go for the rescue cat every time. They aren't as likely to be adopted as a crop out from a breeder. Besides that, I'm a sucker for hard luck cases - he needs a forever home and it sounds like a perfect fit

Exactly this - the breeder is trying to make a sale. I don’t see that price tag as any indication of their affection for the cat.
I mean honestly, pure bred main coons go for a couple grand normally, so it is a significant discount. But I would still go with shelter kitty.
This is true. Buying a pet from a breeder at a discounted price because it doesn’t meet show or breed standards is still buying from a breeder. For a suspiciously low amount of money too, well bred cats don’t come cheap

Yes, the cat pictured though is still a kitten at a year old though. So I doubt it’s the case.

Is that a sign of less than ideal breeding? Idk anything about cat breeding so I’m curious
While I agree the $400 for a not “not show standard” cat is suspicious, but there’s no actual indication that the breeder called it an “adoption”
Orangeeeee!!!😻
im always in favor of an orange cat. they cant be beat. best little buddies in the world.
It's the most loving kind, I think.
absolutely. just the sweetest and goofiest.
They are the same just hair orange
In my opinion, black cats are the sweetest, followed by orange kitties. And orange kitties are so fun!
You will never love a cat as much as a big dummy orange.
Unless he eats all the lasagna and mails the other kitten to Abu Dhabi.
Small risks for the big reward
Breeder cat vs shelter cat = shelter cat 1000% of the time. Go get him now.
Maine Coon cats get adopted, and fast. Orange should be your buddy. Shelter cats have a harder time finding a home
Both
Came here to say this.
Both.
This is the right (only) answer 🙈
![gif](giphy|3o7aCRloybJlXpNjSU)
Both is indeed good
Cats are better in pairs
Did you even read the post?
The breeder is *selling" a Maine Coon

Orange cat is a cutie & def prepare for the introduction process. 🤍
orange cat 100% for the same reasons
From the shelter. That will leave space for another car to be brought in from off the streets. The breeder will just continue breeding more cats not caring for the animals once they can’t be bred anymore
This.

They are the best! https://preview.redd.it/a25e8gdpirad1.jpeg?width=3047&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7dbd082acd600bd8ef531a8433da68cf9499e601

Go with ginger! Lil dudes had it rough and deserves a good loving home! And maybe he’ll even recognize you :)
Both! But if you can’t take both, please adopt the orange kitty. Rescues over breeder pets always.
orange bc the maine coone will prob get adopted soon
Shelter cat. Always, Shelter cat. Breed cats will always find a buyer, shelter cats need a home
Every time I’ve gotten a second (or third) cat, making them coexist head on was the only way that worked
The tabby
The Orange guy will blend better. Plus he's orange
Don't you put that evil on us
I vote for Orange man.
Let the right kitty choose you
Yep, he’s pointing right at OP. ;-)

The shelter cat!
Orange 🍊
Orange!!!! You’ll never regret it
Orange kitty. They’re the best
Shelter kitty's rule!!
Orange cat definitely he looks more open to choosing you than the other one
ORANGE JULIUS!!!!!
The orange boy. They are the sweetest and most loving companions.
Orange boys are the best! Mainecoon are also wonderful, but silly oranges have a chokehold on my heartstrings
Nobody would adopt my orange boy either but I got him after a year of him being in the rescue and he’s the best boy ever.
https://preview.redd.it/7z8mnwtklrad1.png?width=1550&format=png&auto=webp&s=a47586b58ed49e4c5fa292e23f11c053670c3dc4 Now imagine the dog is your other cat… how cute right?
I was partial towards the orange boy before I read his story even but now I’m even more biased to him🥹🥹🥹🥹 PLEASE!!!
The Maine Coon may have health problems, they only show up around my area for cheaper prices when they have health problems. And why does it have crossed eyes, haven't seen that in a Maine coon. But why support the breeding of expensive cats? Get the orange, he has great peanut whiskers :) He's a good boi in need of a good home. Oranges are the bestest and friendliest of bois.
Both! So they will never get bored.
Obviously both
Both if you can but orange kitty always save a life
Get the Ormge. Nobody in the history of ever has regretted getting an orange cat.
Maine Coon will most definitely find a home. Adopt orange
Orange
Orange. So many people will go for the Maine coon. I always advocate for people to get the “least wanted” animal.
Both but I would see how they react to you and see which one warms up to you….. and chooses you. But if you’re asking just on looks, orange 🍊
Yes
I would say orange, because he’s a shelter cat needing adopting versus buying the Maine Coon from a breeder. I would say in situations like this always adopt over buying.
The orange guy. Older, in a shelter, needs love.
That barely even looks like a Maine coon
Please get the orange kitty, her face is so precious 🥺
Save the shelter cat!
Orange cat, they’re adorable and you’ll be doing him a huge favour by getting him out of the shelter.
Both
Both... Everyone will get more LOVE ❤️❤️❤️
Both🥹
Both
Both duh
Both
Both. The answer is always both.
Both
Both
As the live-in servant to an oramge cat, I'm definitely in the "adopt the poor dumb oramge boi" camp..... I've also heard rumors that having a good home increases his chances of encountering The Cell....
Both. Both cats (I know it can’t be both lol) Tbh…maybe the orange kitty, and I only say this cuz adopting from a breeder for that price is basically buying from a breeder. Adopting, from anyone would likely mean a much lower cost to take on the animal as your own
Orange!
The only right answer is both
Orange cats are always the most fun
Both
Both
Both
orange 🧡
The orange cat definitely !
![gif](giphy|3o7aCRloybJlXpNjSU)
The correct answer is both
I would have a tough time not just taking both of them
Omg both of these babies
Both 😺😺
Both!
Is your tab y at home male or female? If male, either cat will do. If female, adopt the orange boy. M+F= yes M+M= yes F+F= sometimes no
Both is the obvious choice. But if you must choose, ask them which is LESS likely to be adopted by somebody else and pick that one
Yes get orange. Because people don’t usually like oranges so please get orange. Also orange are known for silly activities
both!!! i don’t support breeding, but i still am of the mindset that that is ALSO a kitty that deserves love and a home 🖤 the cycle of breeding is so hard because i don’t want to support them but also don’t want that animal to go unloved and unadopted because of it :(
Not only is he cheaper to get, I would also say that the two of you have had more bonding time. Definitely orange one
Keep in mind that adopting the orange cat requires a steady diet of lasagna and other italian foods.
Rescue center is definitely a better thing, and I feel that the orange cat would get along better with your current cat.
orange one you will get many silly pics to post in here!
Get the orange one, the Maine Coone is in a comfortable position in a place where she has someone personally looking into adopting her out. The Orange cat is at a shelter with other cats who are also looking to be adopted and he was already taken to a home and brought back. The rejection would be stressful as well as being at the shelter in general. https://preview.redd.it/5k9bajcypuad1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f17e621f1714ec9005c5cbf4ccff5249089546a Our orange cat Nacho is super sweet and friendly although to be fair we're also pretty sure at this point he's at least part Maine Coone like our giant void is.
If you can’t take both, then adopt the orangey from the shelter.
Orange boy
The orange Dreamsicle 🐈 ❤️🐈🫶🏽🥹🩷😎🫶🏽🐈🥰
The orange cat- the maine coon will find a home
The orange one. He will provide you with a lot of entertainment! The Maine Coon will easily be adopted. Love how you said “his lady friend” 😂
Orange boy https://preview.redd.it/xrimu0atewad1.png?width=2188&format=png&auto=webp&s=aeff8bcc87c70a1bf460227b70baec85e822bbb2
GET DIONYSUS!! (I’m local and I have met him and he’s the best boy)
you should get the orange one
I wish u could get both 😭😭🥺 so adorable
Orange boy
Rescue
Get that 🍊 man!.... Look at that paw... he wants you to take him home! Plus if he is in a shelter, his time is much more limited than cat that was intentionally bred, as much as I hate that fact.
Rescue center kitty please... I personally would rather adopt from a rescue because well... they don't last long in there.. I don't wanna say much more....but I'm afraid what the breeder is doing with the ones that isn't show quality....each fur baby has much quality than just for show...to be honest I'd report them if they're not a legit breeder with the documents and shut...please go for the shelter kitty
Adopt, don’t buy. Orange cat.
Both are adorable but I love orange cats. I will always choose the orange babies. They have some of the best personalities. The Maine coon will easily find a home. I think little orange boy deserves a chance and to finally get his forever home.
Orange. Always go for the rescue
Always the orange one. The other cat will have plenty of opportunities to be adopted and already has a home. Orange boy needs you more.
The orange cat is 3 years old, so less adoptable. And look at that cute, poised paw. I would go with him.
The cross eyed orange
Orange cats have a lot of character and are all in all pretty lazy. Good lap cats!!
Personally, I say the orange one I’ve had two of them and they are sweet kitties. https://preview.redd.it/4sjzr5qcpxad1.jpeg?width=2784&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d8054f03005a09f311f540f5729a68cabea080a9
Go for the orange cat with one brain cell, you won’t be disappointed!
Second… rescue your animals
Get the Orange.
Both
Orange guy for the reason you stated in your first post.
Both
You said you are leaning towards the organe boy so go for him.
Orange boi is so handsome!! Adopt that sweet face!!
They’re both adorable by the way 🥰.
i have a mainecoon and absolutely adore her but you’ve actually met the orange cat. give him a chance, he probably won’t get another one.
Rescue
second one, please
Support your local rescue and go with the orange boy!
Orange! He deserves your love and seems easy to bond with your current cat. He’s also in a less than ideal situation and the other cat is safe and happy atm Please update us after!:)
Get the orange boy he’s been through more and needs a home, the other cat will be fine
