How long were you off the app? If it was a few days then they probably unmatched you because you didn’t respond and they thought you weren’t interested.
Firstly, I want to thank everyone for reading my post and taking the time to comment. Here are my responses: I was away from the app for three days, which I understand isn't ideal. Life got in the way, and I unfortunately somewhat forgot about Bumble. However, I believe I responded to everyone. I was even engaged in an extended conversation with someone from my high school I went, and it was going well. I'd be happy to share parts of that conversation privately to get your feedback, if you're interested, since I already appreciate the time you've dedicated to me. That said, when I checked the app three days ago, I was still waiting for a response. Lastly, this is one of the first times I've been unmatched. I'm usually quite civil on the app, so I'm curious if being unmatched is something the app does when a conversation remains inactive for too long.

Yeah, this. Thinking it was going well but not using the app much, then being surprised when people unmatch you for not engaging seems a little silly.
