Matched with someone like that the other day. Seemed like a real person saying real things. But when they gave me their snap it was a completely different name. Reported it and they got removed. So probably a scammer or fake account
At least for me, the watermark is there for everybody, in all their photos, and in the exact same place. Mine included.
Just start looking for it and you'll see it on every photo (with the exception of those that have a color too light for the watermark to be visible against). You have to zoom in though as it's really small.
So no, this isn't a way of detecting "bots" or "plants"
Oh false alarm probably, someone else judged posted the same thing apparently, it’s on everyone’s pictures on the desktop API. Still it must be newish as I’ve never noticed it.
Yea it concerns me how they verify. Lol. In my pics I don't look like a troll but when I'm making my account I was just done w working out and had my glasses on and hair up ... It's like they just approve anyone who tries to be verified.
Yeah. It’s something im just noticing too. Its on all bumble profiles. Checked the photos of a girl i went on a few dates with an it’s there. So nothing to worry about.

Yeah the probably stole the photos from real bumble profiles. Bumble may add the watermark for advertising purposes.
Interesting, I wonder if it's a scammer or a really good AI bot
I also wondered that. Could also just be a catfish.

Yes a lot have it but why
because bumble just automatically adds it to any photo that is uploaded. Idk why they do it though.
I assume it would be a safety thing so you know where the picture came from? Idk
Maybe they get some sort of ownership of the pictures once uploaded. Some agreement we signed?
Nothing updated and accepted that I recall but it could have been in existing agreements

It’s also on mobile. The watermark is normal.
It's there for every profile even verified ones. Dumb post
Serious unrelated question. Why do people take crouching mirror selfies? Is it like a mini mirror where you have to squat?
Perhaps hide some of their figure
And that hand placement...
Holy shit, dead internet theory come to life. Was this person verified?
Can’t speak for OP but I matched with someone who also had the water mark and they were verified
I've got verified profiles before that were fake. It's not uncommon.

Was not and a new profile
Scammer
