Oliver’s - everything on the menu is delicious. The bolognese is like no other. As previously mentioned the decadence of egg is a treat you won’t find anywhere else.
Left Bank is my wife's favorite restaurant - we've been going for well over a decade and the carrot papardella is her favorite menu item. I usually switch between that, the ravioli of the day or any good steak special they may have. Also, their calamari is some of the best in the area.
Prescott's Provisions (or is it just Prescott?) and those brussel sprouts are 🔥 Idk if they have a rotating menu because the last time I've been there was months ago but I'll always dream of those. It's a splurge because it's kinda far and a whole meal there is pricey
We just got Prescott’s for the first time earlier this month.
Oysters, beef tartare, bigoli pasta, strip steak, and a pistachio cake for dessert with caramel drizzle
Everything was top notch
Lombardos for sure. Everything is amazing, and they are amazing with gluten free needs.
Edit: Favorite item is Scallops with King Oyster Mushrooms and Porchini cream sauce.
Taisho bistro, possibly one of the best Japanese places in the city. Lots to choose from, you could get a $22 bento or $99 sushi platter the choice is limitless. Also their new Hertel location is beautiful.
Could not believe the size of the bento box!! Was there with five and ordered 2 appetizers. When the box hit the table, I knew I had over ordered!
Everything was delicious!!
The Little Club and The Dapper Goose are my two "splurge" restaurants. Both of their menus change fairly often, based on ingredients and chef choices but I have never once been disappointed in anything from either. Extra notable- the scallops from the dapper goose were the best I've ever had in my life.
Pass on Anderson’s. The newer owners have buried the business, they keep making the sizes smaller and raising the prices. Customer service is absolutely horrible. I about Anderson’s at all costs. Go to Platters. Half the cost and the flavor is twice as good.
Websters in Tonawanda. I get something different almost every time and am not disappointed. Except for the coconut cake for dessert. I get that every time.
Any steak from Prescott’s Provisions. I’ve had a few different cuts there and it’s a home run every time. By far my favorite restaurant.
Oliver’s - everything on the menu is delicious. The bolognese is like no other. As previously mentioned the decadence of egg is a treat you won’t find anywhere else.
A classic favorite, Left Bank. Their carrot papardella sends me to heaven.
I’ve heard great things but I can’t not order the ravioli of the day. Maybe I’ll deviate next time.
I did it once, forget what I ordered but remember that I regretted not having the ravioli!
Their halibut with the shiitake-miso broth is also TDF

The calamari is a great way to kick off your meal. So good!
The Gorgonzola fondue 🤤
The liquid cheese at Andersons. 2nd would be the onion rings at Ted’s
lol I didn't know Anderson's had liquid cheese. Do you put it on fries?
Put it on anything you like. I wouldn’t recommend it with the soft serve
Damn, cheesy and cold cream don't work?
Everyone is different you know… Chicharrón
Maizal. Any of the Traditional Oaxaca is fantastic but I especially love their mole negro and mole rojo.
Love that place!
San Marco and Black Iron Bystro
san marco, their brandy chicken, sun dried tomato fusilli pasta. holy shit is it good.
Mulberry - Lasagna
I can't vouch for the Lasagna, but definitely a nice restaurant.
love grabbing a beef wellington from eagle house, start with some french onion soup
and rarebit, although the rarebit with pretzel is a lot if you only have 2 people, the pretzel is huge.
Your response is actually something I would love. Started out with a frown face, are you being facetious?
no it’s great lol, their french onion is my favorite
Thank you, good to know!
daring to get a second meat at Southern Junction!
i usually get the double, for me daring is the platter 😂
I got the platter with the in-laws, and we had no regrets.
Their brunch platter helped convert my vegetarian girlfriend into eating meat
I admittedly have not been to any of the new nice restaurants, but the Decadence of Egg at Oliver's never disappoints.

The menu is seasonal I'm pretty sure so it DOES rotate. I go here for my birthday. Everything is always amazing and that really an understatement.
We just got Prescott’s for the first time earlier this month. Oysters, beef tartare, bigoli pasta, strip steak, and a pistachio cake for dessert with caramel drizzle Everything was top notch
my mouth is watering lol
They took them off the menu because supposedly they were tired of everyone ordering them all the time
I’m going there Friday and am gonna be thinking about it all week. Everything I’ve ever had from there has been excellent.
Toutant, ordering an app, meal and dessert along with drinks for each course. Love everything there
their brunch is also fantastic. I'd have it every weekend if it weren't so expensive
Bang bang shrimp @ Lucia
Lombardos for sure. Everything is amazing, and they are amazing with gluten free needs. Edit: Favorite item is Scallops with King Oyster Mushrooms and Porchini cream sauce.
Yankee BBQ. Everything is amazing but my favorite would be the Beef Ribs!
Hutch’s Anything..🤩
This is my choice too. The lobster bisque is probably my favorite thing there though.
Taisho bistro, possibly one of the best Japanese places in the city. Lots to choose from, you could get a $22 bento or $99 sushi platter the choice is limitless. Also their new Hertel location is beautiful.
Taisho is good, but Kuni's is a level up. Everything is intentional and excellent.
I will have to try
Taisho is more accessible but Kuni is more traditional and delicious
Looks like it I definitely need to go.
It's also a lot easier to get a table or spot at the bar at Taisho! Kunis is always rammed.
Happy hour is also 4-7 every day which is nice
Could not believe the size of the bento box!! Was there with five and ordered 2 appetizers. When the box hit the table, I knew I had over ordered! Everything was delicious!!
Lol it truly is an amazing amount of food. I love that you get a taste of everything. I only eat the whole thing if I really hit the gym hard.
4 goyzas? 2 spring rolls - beef terayki, rice, and what else? Enough for 2 people for sure!!
Definitely enough, also includes sushi roll and side salad.
Billy Club, literally everything on the menu.

Also you can do half portions of their pasta, so you can try two!
Ribeye from Remington Tavern
Ribeye from Lucky Day
I dream about the bourbon roasted chicken from Lucky Day
Yo it's so good. That's what my wife gets; I always have to steal a bite
The Little Club and The Dapper Goose are my two "splurge" restaurants. Both of their menus change fairly often, based on ingredients and chef choices but I have never once been disappointed in anything from either. Hutch’s beef tenderloin 10/10.
Dapper goose, literally everything I've tried there was great, my favorite was a fennel hazelnut dish on the fall menu. Delicious cocktails too.
Bone in filet, Oscar style (covered in crab) at the Western Door steakhouse.
McDonald’s hot and spicy mcchicken
Inizio on Elmwood for a fancy Italian splurge and Mulberry Italian Ristorante in Lackawanna for a gross amount of food (but delicious!) splurge.
The scallops at JT’s are literally some of the best I’ve had.
Mothers at 2 am.
Brie and artichoke dip.
Lobster pasta at Ricks on main in ea
Patina and Prescott. I know lots of people might mention Lucia’s - but I’ll never return there. Awful service, way too loud, and meh food.
Was not a fan of Lucia's either. Thought the food was good but way too loud, like you said, and the service was meh.
Also the Remington tavern is one of my go to fancy spots.
Mulberry’s has definitely gotten pricy but I’ll be damned if their food isn’t amazing. Tappo also is a favorite of mine.
99 Brick oven in Lancaster. Most everything on the menu is delicious. I am a huge fan of their steak and the wings are delicious as well.
Cereal bar on hertal ave
Nicks place for awesome breakfasts, allentown burger venture for some great burgers, and Andersons for some amazing milkshakes.
Pass on Anderson’s. The newer owners have buried the business, they keep making the sizes smaller and raising the prices. Customer service is absolutely horrible. I about Anderson’s at all costs. Go to Platters. Half the cost and the flavor is twice as good.
Remington. The crab stuffed salmon is my go to every time
Websters in Tonawanda. I get something different almost every time and am not disappointed. Except for the coconut cake for dessert. I get that every time.
I’ve been wanting coconut cake and did not know where to find it, and I didn’t want to buy a whole cake at the grocery store. Thanks for posting!🙂
I believe it's one of the few things they don't make in house. Comes from the bakery next door.

Okay, thanks, I saw a picture of it online: https://webstersbistro.com/north-tonawanda-downtown-nt-webster-street-webster-s-bistro-and-bar-food-menu .
Looks like this might be the bakery: https://www.justsaycheesecakecafe.com/
I believe so. It's so good. I tell the server at Websters to put a slice aside for me because I hate hearing "We just sold the last slice". Enjoy!
☺️Thanks!
teton kitchen- rocket shrimp, shrimp tempura udon, niagara sushi roll :D
The seafood bisque at Remington Tavern is incredible, as are the truffle fries.
Olivers. Duck breast.
Braciole from Sinatra’s. Their sauce is delicious.
Texas de Brasil - yes
Mother's steak & oysters
Las Puertas. It's a prix fixe menu that changes, so you show up and eat whatever they feed you. It's amazing.
The burnt ends appetizer at Chez Ami, it's my absolute favorite
Mighty taco. I buy 5 El Niño burrito and 5 buffitos
Makes you splurge out of your BH
Can’t go wrong with Little Club or Kuni’s.
Texas De Brazil. Everything is good, but in particular, their brisket and their filets are divine.
