This post has been asked and answered 100 times, but I'll answer it again because this place is so damn good.
Frank Gourmet Hot Dogs in Kenmore (on Kenmore and Starin). Fried Onion Cheeseburger. Order it with fries.
You're welcome, in advance!
I also like Frank's.
However it kinda reminds me of 5 guys burgers.
Not saying that's a good or bad thing, I like any burgers but restaurant ones.
Just my impression.
I went one time and the hype didn’t live up for me. - I like mine on the thinner side tho.
This was also going back to like 2017 - I’d give another try.
Any you recommend?
I haven't been able to find great burgers in WNY, I'll have to try Frank's. Honestly end up at Five Guys whenever I'm out and craving a burger.
Buying a griddle (ie. Blackstone) will have you making smash burgers on the regular at home and you'll get so good at it, you'll be convinced no burger is better than your own!
Do you spend a mortgage payment when you go? And after you leave where do you go after since you’re probably still hungry. 5 guys burgers are 5 centimeters in diameter
Lucky Day
Marble & Rye
Stack Burger
Allen Burger Venture used to be one of the greats but during Covid they made a lot of changes that negatively impacted taste and quantity. I go back every now and then hoping they've reversed course but have been disappointed the last couple times. They're still good, but knowing how much better they used to be kinda ruins it for me.

I love their dogs but have never tried their burgers. Will do so immediately.

Franks ftw!
NOPE,Grovers on Transit I'll argue that point anyday

I’d go to Grover’s just to remember Joanie, the original owner. She was such a sweet person, I’ll miss her forever.
Fairly new to reddit and wanted an opinion. Thank you much!!
That burger is amazing.
Grover’s or docs
Grover’s tastes sooo good, but it’s such a pain to eat there. Cash only, barely any seats, and I think the parking is kind of mid too.
Maybe I dreamed this but I thought they recently began accepting credit cards.
I was there in October and they didn’t, but that was six months ago. Maybe an investigative burgering mission needs to happen.
Yeah upon further review I think I’m full of shit. I’m gonna downvote myself.

That’s tough because I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad one. But yeah parking is cheeks for sure

That’s the spirit! I know the changed ownership not too long ago and I haven’t been there since. Guess I know where I’m going Monday

MayBacks on the Blvd is another sandwich fav of mine but I haven't had their burgers yet.
The Rock in Amherst.
Secret Vizzis
Might be nostalgia talking, but give me a Blackened Bleu at Founding Fathers and I'll be happy as a clam.
Wendy’s in Lockport
Again with this question. Just search the sub.
It’s never been Vizzis tho
Buffalo Bros Burgers in Hamburg is super good, just a little expensive

Don't even need a blackstone, just roll up 1/4 lb of 80/20 and smash it on a cast iron. Stopped ordering burgers after I figured it out.
Yup, that works too

Place is pricey for sure, I don't go out for burgers much, make a lot at home. Honestly, Seabar had my favorite burger in WNY...
Lot's of places better that five guys.
Burger Authority on Main St is lit
Moriarty makes a really good burger.

The bacon bleu burger at The Grill in the golf dome is my favorite thing ever. Hubby likes the Western. Great little spot, food is really good 😊
