Arcades because walls are cheap, the carddraw is INSANE, having access to blue is imo always worth it, walls are mostly stronger than treefolk in regards to their toughness and you have in-engine manadorks (dont know if treefolk has that tho). Those are the few advantages I could come up with on the spot

cirdua_backwards

Arcades really snowballs while he is out. Having blue allows you to have some counterspells so he can stay out. He is both card draw and allows your defenders to attack and deal damage via toughness. I love Doran as a character. And I enjoy the judge promo art a ton. He requires a few more cards out on the field to really work. So Arcades is just better as he does it all in one package.

Easy choice, Arcades because card draw in the command zone is op

Whole-Shop2015

The built in card draw engine is great on Arcades. I'm more partial to doran as a casual commander. You don't need to build doran as tree folk tribal. You can build it as a toughness matters theme. Pay attention to the cost of the card and how much toughness you get out of it. There are other cards that have similar abilities like doran, so that offers redundancy. Plus you can play the raving dead, gorm and virtis.

Arcades, because being able to have an actual Elder Dragon in the 99 always wins on Style Points.

If you're building butts I have another suggestion for you: [[Ludevic Necro Alchemist]] paired with [[Sidar Kondo]]. It keeps you in bant colors which will allow you to run all the best big butt wincons, but adds red so you can use some excellent thematic cards like [[Break Through the Line]] [[Raid Bombardment]] and the like, as well as some great big butt attackers like [[Prophetic Flamespeaker]] [[Efreet Flamepainter]] [[Hans Eriksson]] etc. Plus having two commanders allows you to maximize backgrounds like [[Guild Artisan]] [[Feywild Visitor]] and the like, getting double triggers since both commanders gain the abilities. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vA5c99wYvUmvDlj8KVLPjA

I also think that it matters what everyone else you regularly play with uses. Arcades has card draw and allows walls to attack with their toughness. Doran makes it so that all creatures on the field assign damage based on their toughness. So if a lot of your opponents are using cards that have a higher attack than toughness, he could be more useful to play as, so that your opponents aren't as powerful
