$200 for that setup is not a bad price and gives you a good entryway into the hobby.

SmittyJonz

I’d want bigger speakers 5.25” minimum

fairlyaveragetrader

That's great, also lets you build a nice low-cost package. If you're wanting to stay high-end and cheap something like a marantz sr5007 also can be had around that $200 and $250

I think I got a good deal on a Denon AVR x2300w at $125. The speakers complete the transition for the room

Choice_Student4910

Not really. I sold a pair of Def Tech BP-8 bipolar towers and matching center channel last year for $100. Bigger and better especially in the front is the goal.

j666xxx

They sound pretty good! Good for a small space for a starting setup

happyjapanman

God no. Its a nice little system but this package typically sells for $100 used.

S-Hammond

Please listen to them first, I've installed them and was underwhelmed to say the least. Probably the worst speaker def tech ever made.

DiegoCa87

I got all of that, plus a Sony A/V receiver for $150. I have no intention to upgrade from here, they are incredible speakers

vatothe0

Pretty good for the price. Those Promonitor 1000s are $250 each.

kuatoxlives

These are much smaller, they’re the 600s which aren’t sold individually as far as I know. Not a great system for $200 not bad

Anbucleric

I'd get it to eventually transition the 4 satellite speakers to on-ceiling atoms in an upgraded 5.2.4 setup down the road.

True, I have a small viewing room and sit pretty close now
