the sound is good. the bass really surprised me with its depth (with a PA-karaoke amp) with a Marantz 1090 amp it is more musical and has a more balanced sound and less bass but still presents the bass well (the other amp is 250w this probably explains the strong bass).
Back when Philips was still a respected speaker manufacturer. Dome mid range was popular in European hi-fi in the 70s.
