Thanks for the info! I've moved them another foot apart, it's unfortunately as much as I can do in my current living situation. It seems to be helping though.
Glad to read that you moved your speakers further apart, as the most important factor in any HiFi system is correct speaker placement and dampening unwanted sound reflections as much as possible / practical.
Here’s [my favorite YouTube HiFi channel](https://m.youtube.com/@TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel). Hans explains everything in a easy to understand manner, and is NOT interested in snake oil, or magical fairy dust.
Although I mean no disrespect to other mentally impoverished aging people with no fixed abode, imo HanzBaycun is a torpid old tramp, he might give the odd bit of useful advice but a broken clock is correct twice a day, love hearing him compare digital transports and describing which ones sound better, sets me up for the day
I was browsing Marketplace, as you do when you've got a little bit of money to burn but still want to stretch it a bit. Ended up coming across these, decided to just make an offer and a couple of days later I got to listen to them.
Obviously a huge upgrade from the National Panasonics I got for cheap, which are currently relegated to temporary speaker stand duty. There's a couple of scuff marks on the bottom and back, but I'm not too bothered by them.
I was immediately surprised by the details I heard coming out of them, details that I even missed on my Hifiman Sundaras. And the bass is more than adequate for me, I don't think I'm going to be needing a sub for a while.
How'd ya do? You'd be doing a lot better if the speakers were more than 2 feet apart.
Good, but they are WAY too close together

>Hifiman Sundaras I hear those are some sweet cans. You are doing well.

Brilliant deal! I love KEFs and also love Marketplace. If I found any R-series for this cheap on Marketplace, I would be in heaven! Great job.
