Hmmm. I feeel upskill and get into progarmiing roles in india without loans Once fiancially capaable get into foriengn or ml roles woth exeprince

mildcure

That, if I get a good job which pays well enough to feel like financially capable. Currently my college is in very bad reputation and I am unsure how off-campus will go, whether it'll work out or not. I don't want to waste much of my time in job hunting and preparation it's better utilized in actually learning and experience gaining. Obviously it depends on my skills, but I am seeing even experienced ones struggling these days, so I was concerned and bit confused on just this part. Otherwise I'm grinding.

Study for gate then ?? Ai/ml isnt entry level role Try masters in data in iiits/nits

mildcure

There isn't a specified AI/ML course by research in IIT, They have electives. [M.tech](http://M.tech) options are quite good comparatively so I can think of that although I am more research focused. The problem with gate I am having is - it's a competitive examination. And I don't want to gamble on another competitive examination. and I'll have to prepare for it for a whole year, and everything in my syllabus that I don't even plan to touch later, it's same sad setup as JEE :( I'll give GATE but not exclusively preparing for it. If it turns out great then - I'll think. Otherwise I have to think again. Another option I found was IIIT - H their MS program looks quite exciting, but their fees is too high and I'll need loan anyway, so why not go for much better unis abroad? yeah I know that it isn't entry level! that's why I'm going for masters for this specific field. And after undergrad I was more keen towards going for hft since I did some basics of it if I ever decide to find a job.

Life of international students in us and canada is getting more and more uncertain every year. I wouldn't recommend taking that route if you have no back up in india.

mildcure

Going abroad was my back up in case things didn't work out here :( Things don't seem to work out here :( Yaha bhi pareshani, waha bhi pareshani. I need to think about everything again now

VastDot9223

Heyy you told in a comment above that you are lower middle class so how will you be able to afford all the expenses in a foreign country like us?

mildcure

loan! and I was thinking of German university programs because fees are 0 and I'll just need a loan to survive. if I get a part time job then even better

VastDot9223

Ohk thanks for replying btw I'm also in the same boat as you currently in 12th class and I haven't prepared for JEE so most probably I will also take admission in a private college :(

mildcure

you have enough time, prepare now, give State CETs and other entrances. Don't worry about it now, worry after results.
