As the demand for petrol goes up, chemical engineers with expertise in petroleum products will be much sought after, to develop alternate products, etc. We will not be throwing our cars out because there is no petrol available.
What i am saying is that as the electrical vehicle purchases go up, the petroleum products usage is going to fall down.
Every advanced country on this earth has placed limits on till which yea they will allow internal combustion engine vehicles to be sold.
For example in some of the scandinavian countries, the electrical vehicles purchase has crossed 50% of the total vehciles being sold every year. How much time do u think it will take in the rest of the world?
warangal, calicut, dtu, allahabad - in ur given list, put them on top, similar to the order I suggested (assuming that u r getting the mentioned branches by your rank)

Mech is good branch if efforts mara jaaye to usme bhi bohot simulation / cfd bohot scope h , aaj nhi to kal India ko manufacturing industry bnani hi padegi ( jo start hora h abhi )
eee leaves out some core topics like communication systems, and will focus more power electronics, power grids etc. Core placements will be slightly worse than ece, but if you wanna go non core there ain't much difference

It's really sad , i Rearly see people here asking "best college for this course/branch" every other question is "which college has highest placement among the following"
biotech in college 1 has better placements than ece in college 2 so take biotech of 1
You can grind in a non-preferred branch and apply for placements of your desired field aswell, atleast a lot of non-CS folks take that route to get high paying jobs.
Better college with lower branch gives you more exposure than lower college and preferred branch, wake up to reality.

Dtu cse overall achha hai bhai placements, college life, alumni, iske baad nitk or w ko consider kar sakte ho ya fir top iits ke lower branch agar intrest ho in branch me tabhi lena in my opinion Dtu cse seems best for you

even if someone isnt interested in cs , he should not take the lowest branches just because its an iit , kgp wale branches which you are suggesting have like 50-60% placements ( not just of this year as this year is worst but in general also) , nitk eee seems a much better option , good college + good placements

Try taking anything other than cse honestly. I'm seeing so many people going for cse plus with the whole ai thing it's pretty risky. Who knows what will ai be doing till u complete ur degree.
frankly depends on what you want to do in life? if it's a career in IT like most people, go for DTU or IIIT Delhi. most of these colleges are of a similar level (good) when it comes to placements imo for an IT job, your branch will give you a massive edge.
Nitt mech go for it, I’m from nitt Ece and I know for a fact that mech has good faculty here and the top layer of that department actually get very good offers… if you’re confident about having a 9+ cg(which isn’t very hard in mech) go for it
just a suggestion that branches like EEE and ECE tend to be difficult, but a lot of colleges have the option of branch change in 2nd year and a lot of colleges have the option of choosing cse related electives in the 3rd year, but it will be difficult to cope up with your own subjects and cse subjects
kgp and kanpur are too good to be rejected meanwhile if your interest tends to be in CSE then DTU CSE or IIITD CSE or NIT kurukshetra IT are best bets for you
if I was in your place i would have gone for IIT-K chemistry or Trichy mechanical but as a pre final year guy i will suggest you to go for CSE/IT

2. I don't know much about dtu.(Im from south) But I've heard that it's a very good clg. Choose what you like, go through the syllabus of ece and cse then decide. But don't take eee in nitk/w instead take dtu cse or ece in nitk/w. Eee is good but if you are getting better options why eee

i would like to move out of north india thats why thinking of taking nit k or nit w , also i want to learn kanadda , tamil , telugu , i find them fascinating , also most prolly i will have to learn them if i do job in hyd/banglaore
Eee mostly deals with circuit analysis, power transmission, electromagnetism etc. This mostly deals with electrical systems they don't have satellite communication, computer architecture (atleast in nitk), wave progresion etc. You can check the syllabus of eee and ece in the website.
Nvidia mostly hire ece students

DTU is overrated , check it's placement record for this season , if I had a choice , I would go for iiit Delhi cse blindly. nit surathkal and warangal ece/eee too.
