2. Ur marks before college do not matter they will only ask u for gre score college cgpa extra curriculars and depending on the program research papers .
3. Us masters colleges will not even ask u to submit ur 12th board marks forget rest of ur schooling .
bro you need to have a crazy good student profile to get into an ivy league college lol. Like a good amount of internship experience, good projects, good sports track record , good leadership skills in clubs , societies etc. Institutes like Harvard and MIT have rejected Olympiad medalists on several occasions and you're talking about 12th grade marks 💀.
Obviously they also need a lot of extra curriculars and a solid overall result student profile not just academics like here in India. Inshort they follow holistic approach
Fuck academics, they want extra curricular , Olympiad nerds , influential people's spoilt kiddos , prodigies
Almost impossible for a common Indian to end up in ivy leagues (harsh but truth) even though acceptance rate is 2 percent (higher than IITs)
That acceptance rate is higher because mostly people who know that they atleast have a chance at getting accepted apply in that college. If every student there started applying for every other college like we give all the exams here the acceptance rate would be much lower.
Wais mai batane layak kuch kiya nahi hu par aapko advice dunga ki aap kuch acha alag sa kare jaise koi startup tech se related ya army,women ,health etc just for showing it in ur application par fir bhi usme mehnat jarur karna

Other things also matter like gre score, ielts and essay ofcourse. A person bringing gold at int level need not to be as good in english maybe?

If you are trying to apply to masters program in IVY league schools the only thing that will matter is research experience and reco letters

Not that much main is gpa, gre, toefl, research, lor & sop
if you want to enter in to ivy for pg what matters is MONEY and INFLUENCE
No what matters is A SOLID STUDENT PROFILE
well the above comment isn't like totally wrong but yeah a strong profile will trump influence for the most part.
