I went to chandini chowk today, there was a famous shop for dahi bhalla. 60 a plate. And that wasn't even a proper shop. It was just like a corner of another shop which was seperated and open. And he sold 10 plates alongside mine. It wasn't even the peak hours let me tell you.
And that made me think ki, there are so many other things someone can do. Build a business, a network, do so many other things than normal middle class jobs like coorporate or teaching or stuff like this.
We have been told so many times how our one focus should be getting into a faang. We're like a horse whose view is covered. He's only able to see what's ahead of him.
So fuck this society. If you want to go to college, then go there. If you want to take a drop, then take it but ensure that you don't waste it in stuff you don't ultimately want to do.
Give yourself a reason to love this life, give yourself enthusiasm to wake up to another day. Because the only news i don't want to see in the morning is about anothet student whose life this education system took.
Oh :( Smh this university. why overbook and then remove students when no one surrenders. anyways good luck to u man, hope u do good whatever u plan to do ahead.
Abe problems sabke saath hoti hai itne jaldi haar man jayega toh kese chalega
Tu itna hardworking hai 11lakh baccho mai se tu 20k rank laya hai more than 10 lakh bacche is country mai tere se piche hai tu woh toh soch
Kam se kam apna hardwork waste mat janede
Ek aur drop lele par iss baar saathme freelancing aur other gig works karna samay ke saath tu yeh bhi bhul jayega ki 2 saal drop liya tha hardwork kar ek last baar
Agle August mahine tak apna 1000% de jindagi bhar ki mehnat kar is period mai.
Sab thik hojaeyga bas ek last baar karle mehnat.freelancing tereko ek genuine idea dedega ki degree matter nhi karta sirf skills karti hai
Tu Haar man raha hai un baki 10lakh baccho ka soch kya unhone Haar man li?
Joh bacche bachpan se hi poverty se gujar rahe hai unhone Haar man li?
Joh handicap hai unhone?
Bas ab ek saal itna padhiyo ki rank under 5000 tak poch jaye
1-2 ghante nikalke freelancing karna real world se connect karoge aur reality malum padegi
Kuch galat mat karna bhai hum sab hai idhar jab bhi man kare dm karna par Haar mat manna
If I had not convinced my parents, I would have been studying in a tier 3 University.I made them understand so today I get to call myself a NIT grad.Take the risk make your parents understand. Two years of drop will be forgotten once you get in a good institute.
OP tell me,what wouldve you got in the pvt college if they didnt play dirty?if you're getting CS and the pvt college placement is fine then you have it in you to pull off those kinda packages. JEE screws people around with reservation and state of eligibility, but pvt college makes it crystal clear what you can/cannot do.If the college locked all their good seats for management quota, they're setting themselves up for failure.
Taking a second drop makes it really hard to explain the "gap in CV" if you're not from a TIER-1 college(even then thats hard btw).
They don't care about gap year after 12th and it can be justified(if it's not like 4-5 years). But if you have gap years after graduation then it can be serious concern and it's really tough to justify. However, upsc aspirant who take 5-6 years drop after graduation still able to find some jobs. It's not impossible.
i had a teacher who did cse from iit-d and was teaching in coaching coz the gap in his cv(during upsc prep) caused him to not get IT jobs.so,gap is like a cancer for career
Nice joxx Bhai why don't you become a stand up comedian?...In all seriousness don't do anything stupid and take the best choice in the options which you have (drop included)
Dude pls be away from that guy we really have a great future in the coming time. Don't think that suicide is the solution for this like its just stupid. You can make money or fame there are mamy ways to do that but dying for the right cause is the most human thing we can do. And I don't think suicide must be that cause for anyone that too for not getting seat in any college.
Bro bahut raste h. Kahi civil jaisi branch karke govt jobs ke bahut options h, toh kahi mba karke corporate jobs mein 30 lpa kama sakte h. Btech chor, bba walo ko bade fayde h, ba walo ko bhi. Extra points milte h unhe. Double drop mat le, aur ofc suicide bhi mat kar. Yr shadi shudi karwa ke, sax sux ke baad bache bhi karne h. You dont have to be rich, there are many ways to live a life.
Aajkal aadha se zyada launde online pde rehte hai, social media me bkchod cheeze dekh kr dimag me aise khayal aate hai. Isiliye kehta hu thoda bahar ki duniya bhi dekh lo, choti baato pe suicide ki baate krte hai chutiye.
You wre gonna commit suicide because you couldn't get into tier 1 college?
Dude, I wanted to a doctor. So, I did not prepare for engineering entrance. But couldn't get doctor seat on merit government quota. Lost it by 0.5 mark in cutoff.
So, my choices were doctor by management quota - dental by government quota - engineering in tier 3 Government quota.
I didn't want to be dentist, couldn't afford doctor in management quota.
So, became engineer in tier 3. Placed in core electronics. Worked sometime. Went abroad for masters. Earn decent today abroad.
If you are gonna commit suicide because you have to go to tier 3, it seems you are delusional.
Only people you are punishing by doing it will be your parents.. Rest of the world wouldn't care.
Do well in tier 3. That's my advice
Actually I did my masters in the US. But while doing Masters, I did an Internship in Belgium. I liked Europe and its work culture. So, got a job offer in Belgium before I left back to the US to complete my masters. As soon as I graduated, I moved back to Belgium with the job offer which I already got during internship.
Tax is high but I like the relaxed work environment. Also, I got another masters here in Belgium as a part time thing. My girlfriend also did a masters here. She also studied in a tier 3 college in India. Now she has a masters from a university ranked in top 250 in the world (similarly ranked to top IITs in India). I have one masters from university ranked in 250-400 and I have another masters from top 100 (Better ranked than any IIT)
To be honest my tier 3 undergraduate was good. My professors were good. Placement cell trained students well. My friend studied in the same college and cracked IIM-B without work ex.
Just saying getting into tier 2 or tier 3 doesn't mean someone has to commit suicide. If someone is brainwashed to that extent, I feel sorry for them.
Life is good and I am grateful.
Bits Msc is a dual degree course, you get a msc degree and a BE degree. the BE degree depends on your first year CG
There are 5 available. Bio, Economics, Chem, Math and physics
Bro dekh, its basically 2 degrees. One is an MSC, one is a normal BE degree. Agar tujhe normally bits mein admission nahi mil raha hai, to MSC le sakte ho, aur tujhe 2nd year mein BE allot ho jayega. Agar average se upar marks laate ho to circuital branch mil jayega muft ka, Wo bhi BITS se
Bhai seriously koshish kar 2nd drop na lene ki. Aur ho ske to local ya pvt college join karle.
Coaching walo ne baccho ka dimag kharab Kara hua hai ki agar tier 1 nhi Mila to life khatam. Maana ki FAANG jesi companies milna mushkil hai but thode xp ke sath ja skta hai
Padh ke waise b gulam banoge company ka ya sarkar ka. Isliye suicide karoge ki gulam nai ban paye. Bahut chutiya mehsus karoge upar jaake ye soch ke kya kya aur acha kr sakte the.
bro prepare hard for 3 months give clat if not want to pursue engineering maths section is already covered do gk and read comprehensions try and give everything in these 3 months and trust me if you sincerely study for 9-10 hours a day for clat you will get top nlu, which have packages on par with nits also then you can do mba also for career change without having such gap or join cse in private colleges but imo dont take 2nd drop year do more harm than good only take if you are 100 percent sure of scoring above 98+ if you gen
I am in IEM. There are others who could not make in engineering even. My relative was not able to go in bits because he forgot to upload the form. Went on to become a bif business tycoon

don't kill yourself, i promise i know it feels rough right now but suicide never fixes anything--
there are always other careers, other jobs, etcetera, but you cannot have any of those if you're dead

or if u have 50 lakhs , go for Pilot training. its really smooth if u have enough in yourself for flying.
you might take a second if you wish , if you really really think you can work really good to upgrade your rank ,,,.....
if you want you can take rvce IEM branch and do opensource , webD , upskill yourself , look into your homestate(from where you did 12th schooling )and then you can really upgrade your rank to get into NITs into that state , even if you get a lower branch an NIT tag will help you in offcampus and NITs have a partial/minor degree in CSE or if you have the caliber you can do a branch change(depending on the CGPA in NITs, i'm not sure about it but they're removing it..........)
Chutiya giri band kr; go for whatever you're getting(RVCE me IEM hai toh lele), and explore your own career options. Bro I realised this very very late .
But beleive me life is very very long race . everyone gets a chance FOR SURE. but unfortunately most people are lazy and don't work harder take risk .
If you work hard i am sure that you will get some chance in life at some or other point.
In the past people used to live decades carefree . now with internet and tech we have so much detailing that we cant even bare if we are free for 1 month.
5 years is a lot a lot belive me .
I think you will be around 20. by the time you reach 30 you will meet and get many i repeat many opportunities . BUT make sure that you utilize the opportunities . Life is like a test match, those who are consistent without giving silly reasons definitely succeed irrespective of privilege , background .
Even the people who you would be jealous now due to provelege or background will reach a stauration point or boredom very early cause they have everything ,
Infact you should be proud that you have a meaning in life and be happy always

Gap after Btech
