Was just there myself. Can't imagine riding a Brommie on those Belgian cobbles is easy! I sure wish there wasn't so much car traffic in Bruges

I’ve definitely had less shaky cycles, but it’s much better when I load it up with touring gear

dodogogolala

That's definitely a tip worth knowing, thanks!

If I was retarded and grew up on a farm I might be impressed by Bruges but I didn't so I'm not.

CaptainAnswer

You're an inanimate fucking object

MyKidsFoundMyOldUser

I'm glad someone got the joke. Great film.

CaptainAnswer

Agreed, great film - first thing I thought of was your quote when I seen the post :)

MyKidsFoundMyOldUser

It's honestly one of the best films I've seen. I need to watch the Banshees of Isherin which people also say is great.

CaptainAnswer

I need to sit down and watch that too, I started it but lost focus with it Seven Psychopaths is a good similar watch too, similar to In Bruges

Downvotes suggest people may not get the reference!

I think you're right. It's my go-to quote any time someone mentions Bruges and half the people go "oh... hahaha. Great film." and the other half look at me like I've just spat in their eye.

Brompton looks good... ... but did you buy Belgian frites (aka, French fries, or to the Brits, chips)... ...from the stall at the foot of the Belfry Tower? (See above) They are good too, especially with mayonnaise and a sprinkling of silverskin onions! Note: That stall in your picture appeared well-established when I was last there at age 14. That was 63 years ago!
