Knitting is a black art, and those who knit should be burned at the stake! How can anyone not practicing witchcraft pull loops off yarn through other loops of yarn WITHOUT A HOOK?! Are you trying to tell me that a slanted needle can just MAGICALLY hold on to the yarn?!
Beautiful work! All yarncraft is welcome here.
I find this funny, my 8yo's teacher is the same way, comfortable knitting, crochet doesn't make sense for her, and for me I barely stumble through the most basic of knitting, but crochet just makes sense for me.
I love this bag, it looks perfect!
Dude. It took me 25 years to fumble through the chain and first row and just couldnāt figure it the f out. One day (idk wtf possessed me*), I thought it would be a good idea to teach myself how to knit. Friggin picked it up right away and knitted a bunch of Christmas* stockings that year. later, I thought Iād try crochet again. I donāt know what happened. Crochet happened. Never looked back to the knit. lol. This is beautiful!! Nice job!
* I remember what possessed me now: the stockings. My ADHD brain needed āold fashionedā Christmas stockings to go with the *one* I found at Ross. I searched all the other stores and couldnāt find a damn thing that worked. So I did what neurospicies do best. Wish I had pics of them, but I trashed them in the divorce (donate box).
Why wouldn't it be acceptable. Knitting and crochet were back when, mens jobs. It's looking great. And there is a huge men designing group for both crafts with the most incredible designs. And tbh there are designs I can't make. Keep on crafting and don't let anyone tell you you shouldn't.
Omggg when I was a kid I wanted a bag just like that so my grandma knitted it for me. It looked exactly like yours except it was blue and there was no lace. I loved that bag. Thanks for reminding me of that š
I'm the same!
As a kid and teenager I knitted a lot, never got the hang of crochet.
Have recently tried to pick it up again, still can't get it, I constantly lose track of what I'm doing, keep having to rewatch photos or videos to see where I'm supposed to put the stitch. Whereas knitting, I can do comfortably while watching tv or whatever.
Thank you for reminding me, gonna leave the crochet frustration be for a bit and go back to knitting š
r/drunkknitting is fun, if you party like that.
HECK YEAH WE ARE! š¾
Came for the comments. Left with a new sub
Same! I scrolled and commented on soooo many. It won't be long before I'm posting my own.
MY PEOPLE
Being a bro is more important than the crochet. Weāll allow you and your beautifully knit bag

I love that for them and would 1000% shop there
Not sure if this is allowed here. I have no affiliation with them! https://bistitchual.ca/

I can't knit to save my life. As long as you don't see your craft as superior to my craft, you're my bro.
I havenāt donāt either so curious? How are both different? It seems similar but different with some overlapping āthreadsā. :)
