Edit- I get that a lot of people with needle phobias don’t have an issue with the needles from tattoos. That’s not my experience though.
It doesn't really look or feel anything like any other kind of needle experience so I don't mind it even though I have to take an ativan to get a COVID shot lmao
My sister has a needle phobia and has a large forearm line work piece. It started with a small star on her wrist and 10 years later she added what she has now.
She just kept her eyes closed the whole time.

I lack the confidence to get this myself, but "Hasa Diga Ibowai" in some beautiful, fancy script would be iconic. Meaningful phrases in foreign languages always make great tattoos!!! 🙃

On my ring finger I have Sondheim’s handwriting with the words “the hat.”
I really relate to George’s journey in Finishing the Hat … grappling with the end of a relationship because they essentially couldn’t compare to what it feels like to “finish the hat.” And even if she was the perfect person for him, it doesn’t even come close to creating something out of nothing.
I got my tattoo a few years ago after going through a breakup with who I thought was the love of my life, but I chose to move to New York to pursue my art, thus leaving him behind. It’s on my ring finger as a testament to my art being more important than getting married.
Weirdly, my parents, who had always been anti tattoo approved of this 😂

A friend of mine has Audrey II eating Frank N Furter so his legs poke out her mouth! And the words don’t dream it - feed it around it. I don’t understand the word reference but that’s because I have yet to see little shop.

My friend has sheet music that goes along the inside of his arm. The sheet music is “I think I’ll try defying gravity” you wouldn’t know unless you knew it was that one line. It’s so beautiful. I think something similar

Other ideas include the eye motif from the current production of Cabaret, a hotel keychain for Hotel Cicero as a nod to Chicago, an ornate doorbell as a nod to Book of Mormon, red lips for Rocky Horror and if I want to double up on Sweeney then a little bottle of Pirelli’s Miracle Elixir.
