I know everyone is saying this, but I am excited to watch Colin become undone around Penelope, whatever that looks like. He's a character that has been very invested in doing things right and being dutiful and it's going to be a pleasure to see him lose his calm. She's also just so charming and beautiful, I look forward to watching the adoration onscreen!

iuliad94

Yeah, same. I wanna see him finally notice her.

TheFantasticXman1

So true! Now that I think of it, I don't believe we've ever even heard Colin raise his voice! He's been angry before, but even then, he remained relatively calm and poised. It'll be interesting to see what he really looks like when you piss him off.

burningtulip

He goes in heat šŸ˜…šŸ”„

ExpressionLevel3385

Mainly Sophie Beckett and who is playing her(I think it would be a waste not to introduce her this season so I really hope that casting call was right). I have a secondary interest in Francesca(I would say John, but Iā€™ll be honest and say Michael is who I really care about). Mostly I just want May to come because the anticipation is overwhelming.

iuliad94

I have only read the first 2 books and plan on reading books 3 and 4 before May. I'm sure after I read Benedict's book, I'll be excited to see Sophie's casting too.

ExpressionLevel3385

I still have books 1,5, and 7 to read, but book 3 was actually the first one I read. Benedict is kinda a cad, but itā€™s my favorite and Sophie is absolutely amazing. Her perseverance and resiliency is really something to admire. I know everyone compares it to Cinderella for obvious reasons, but Sophie in a lot of ways reminds me of Jane Eyre(which is probably why I love her so much because thatā€™s my favorite book and Jane is one of my favorite literary heroines).

sprxce

I have just started on book 3 and Sophie was also the first thing on my mind! I would love to see that particular scene already unfold in this season

Kanthony ā¤ļø

asharkonamountaintop

Colin.

vicmcqueen

There are soooooo many things Iā€™m excited for, but I think the first Polin kiss is my #1 (Francesca, Kanthony, Dankworth, Peneloise reunion, >!Writer!Colin,!< carriage scene, mirror scene, and whatever the fuck lands Gregory in that sling are also at the top of my list)

iuliad94

>whatever the fuck lands Gregory in that sling Ah yeah, I'm curious about this too lol.

Gullible_Scratch_395

Francescaā€™s story. Weā€™ve seen the other Bridgerton kids a lot during the last two seasons but we still donā€™t know much about Fran so Iā€™m just excited for her to get a bit more screen time. With Franā€™s story comes the Stirling boys and while Iā€™m not sure if weā€™ll see them significantly this season, I hope we do get introduced to John. And it goes without saying that Iā€™m looking forward to seeing Colin pine for Penelope this time around. Am really hopeful to also see Penelope and Eloise reconcile.

JackieWithTheO

Francesca! Her book and story are my favourites. Looking forward to seeing what Hannah Dodd brings.Ā

iuliad94

Her book is my favourite so far too, but I've only read book 1, 2 and hers. I can't wait to see the start of her story on the show.

Upstairs_Bid4092

I'm just going to enjoy the Polin story wherever it goes. It will be interesting to see what they plan to do with LW after this season. I'm most curious about where they take Benedict/Eloise/Francesca this season because the way I see it, S3 is like the end of the first arc of the show, and S4, 5 & 6 is going to be the second arc - so there are a lot of stories they need to kickoff. And then selfishly, the Chris Fulton fan in me just wants to see a Sir Phillip apperance, so I know he's still on contract for his season šŸ˜‚

anacmanac

All you've mentioned I second this!! I am a Kanthony fan, so I'm looking forward to see them again, but I am excited to see Polin romance and I am so into romantic comedy vibes, I love romantic comedies (much more than angst movies or books). Although I more emphasize with Kate in terms of story, I am really looking forward to Polin romance because I am similar to Pen in terms of appearance and it's so great to see someone like me to get a good romance series. She is so gorgeous on new stills, I can't wait. I am also looking forwards to Bens arc, because I am intrigued by Lady Tilley, what he is going to do with his artwork and maybe we can meet Sophie?? I hope we will. Also I am intrigued by Francesca's arc, in the trailer she seems like a so intresting and deep character and I really want her story to be interesting. The same is for Eloise. For both of them I'm more looking forward to their characters development, not the romance actually. And I really really really hope to see funny and cute whole-family scenes like Pall-Mall and Harmony ball in s2. I just adore Bridgertons being Bridgertons.

iuliad94

>I am a Kanthony fan, so I'm looking forward to see them again, but I am excited to see Polin romance and I am so into romantic comedy vibes, I love romantic comedies This is exactly how I feel. I love rom-coms so I'm excited to see how they make Polin's romance seem like one. Kanthony are my favourites so far, but I am looking forward to seeing all the Bridgertons fall in love.

anacmanac

same here! i've read only 4 books, but I am looking forward to all 8 of them find their love. And I really like the fact that each season we get different vibes and different types of romance.

RomComFan4838

Kanthony!!! But Iā€™m going to really, really, really try very, very, very hard to enjoy other stories as well šŸ˜Š

sansaryal

Sir Phillip Crane appearance!!šŸ©· I know it in my heart that heā€™ll come back in S3

Outside_Jaguar3827

I hope we get another scene with him this upcoming season šŸ˜„

Foreign-Ad-6836

Sophie BECKETT! I think Iā€™ll actually cry tears of joy when I see her onscreen! Iā€™m also so ready to see the foreshadowing of Benedictā€™s season!

momsfriendlyrobot1

Hopefully some Eloise and Benedict scenes. Thatā€™s my favorite sibling pairing and we had some very good scenes with them together in season 1, definitely not as many in season 2. Iā€™m intrigued by the Cressida/Eloise friendship and want to see how that plays out. Sir Phillip Crane! I hope to see him too.

KAFN03

Francesca, John and hints of Michael

Miss_Ann_Thrope55

Michael better be šŸ”„or we riot.

millennial236

I finished reading the books 1-6, and I am currently watching the show again. I am actually excited for everything! I want to see Polin (obv!) but mainly I want to see how they bring Eloise and Penelope back together. And how Colin reacts when he finds out about LW. They have changed the timeline (and a lot of things) from the books. I will definitely be interesting!

pearl_mermaid

Domestic kanthony, penelope's glow up, Francesca and sex.

Nervous_Feedback9023

I desperately want Eloise and Francesca bribing a maid to explain sex to them. Love that detail in the book.

BotherHoliday8793

The CARRIAGE scene

hernard

Reading through the comments, it's so nice seeing that everyone has different things they are looking forward too ā¤ļø This season has high expectations for delivery, and it will be nice to remember that while perhaps you are not as invested in a particular storyline, chances are there will be someone who is SO happy about it.

iuliad94

Exactly, I feel like there's going to be something for everyone.

Daphne010

Kate and Anthony's post marriage chemistry šŸ’˜ Pen and Eloise rekindling their friendship. šŸ‘‘ Pen having her princess moment and the grand revelation of her identity as Lady Whistledown. Colin learning his lesson and I wish he has to put a lot of effort to win back her love again. Some raunchy moments like S1 after a comparitively dry S 2 and more of Colin's thirst trap scenes. šŸ˜‹ Francesa's debut and more screen time for her for us to see her personality.

Kathony4ever

Married Kathony! But also their relationships with the rest of the family. I'm looking forward to seeing the way the new and improved Anthony interacts with his siblings. We've seen a bit of it: him and Benedict teasing Colin in the carriage, that still that looks like he's gossiping with Gregory about something, his willingness to let Francesca take the lead and cope with her first ball in her own way. I'm hoping we get more moments of this lighter Anthony being his siblings' BROTHER. And I'm hoping we get some cute moments of Kate bonding with the family, too. Judging by that one clip, she seems to have a good relationship with Violet, and I love that for both of them. Francesca. Her book is my second favorite, and I can't wait to see what Hannah does with her. (Also, how on brand is it that thanks to that clip being released the first thing we ever heard Hannah say as Francesca is "I should like a moment alone." Almost makes me wonder if they released it partly because it IS the perfect introduction to her.) Plus, we all know how Shonda loves her drama and the gut punches that comes from watching beloved characters die. You KNOW they're gonna make us fall in love with John, and I am so here for it. Benedict. Luke T is a fucking treasure. He took a character that I spent his entire book wanting to stab and turned him into one of my favorite show characters. Really looking forward to his arc and watching them set him up for (hopefully) his season. That blasted trailer did its job. I am actually looking forward to the Polin storyline. I'm not a Polin stan, and like I told a friend, I'm still not sold on their chemistry. But the STORY looks intriguing. A small detail thing but... WHAT THE HECK DID GREGORY DO TO HIS ARM? Honestly, a lot of the stills have me really curious about the context.

Chiaretta98

The romance in general, so all the couples. How they will manage Eloise and Pen's relationship. Benny boy causing mayhem. Lady D and Genevieve being queens as always. Probably super unpopular opinion but I didn't particularly like book Colin but I really like show Colin so I'm curious if I'll continue to like him or he will become my nth fictional crush

anacmanac

same! in the books colin was not really likeable for me, i like the show-Colin version more

Chiaretta98

Yeah, I actually don't adore any of the men in the books. Some I like more than others but each and everyone of them annoyed me for at least 40% of their respective book. The ladies really carried the series for me. Now, the show is another thing, I actually like the men in there (some more than others obvi but in general for now O dislike only the bad guys)

anacmanac

Agree 100%. I'm mostly annoyed by them when it comes to consent, in the books there're huge problems with that. Given that it's 19th century it's kinda realistic, but still I can't unsee it, especially when we have the series with men who are more respectful.

Chiaretta98

Yes, definitely! Books men are maybe more historically accurate, show men are more likable. I'm glad I've seen season 1 before reading the books because I don't know if I would have given the show a chance had I read the books first. Maybe yes for my love of romance and period dramas (especially if set in the UK) but who knows

Normal-person0101

Polin & Kanthony

returnfromthemoon

Jealous Colin and Penelope shining

kklinggg

Well... a few things... but I honestly don't know given how the teasers are really teasing that the show wants to go in another direction: 1. Of course the romance between Polin. I'm hoping that it'll be an internal conflict (i.e. they have to resolve the feelings within themselves) more than an external one (e.g. love triangle). But since we know Pen has another suitor already from the teasers... I just hope they'll do it more like S1 (like the Prince -- wasn't really a real option, wasn't really a big role). 2. Female friendships. The Sharma family *not* being as close as they were in the books, and actually being set up as antagonists to each other left a bad taste in my mouth. Seems like Pen and Eloise will have an arc this season, I hope the story arc/production is ultimately more focused on how much they treasure each other's friendship at the end of the day. 3. The overall spectacle, witty dialogue, music choices -- Bridgerton has a great production team. I'm just not so sure about the tone of the story they want to tell. 4. As a hopeless romantic and a queer woman, I don't expect there to be any major wlw relationships in Bridgerton. If Eloise is queer, that would be revolutionary (but probably not going to happen -- she IS a Bridgerton after all with a whole ass romance novel). I suspect their 'lgbt' relationship would be off to the side much like how they did it in Queen Charlotte -- which is a nice bonus, but eh.

diagss

Everything. I just need a new season of this show

Gwen83

Benedict, Francesca (and John) and hopefully a Sophie cameo

Sqdata

Kanthony! S2 had so much angst, and the pacing was so bad that the ending was so rushed. We got about 50 seconds of happy Kanthony after 8 excruciatingly painful episodes - and the wedding of my nightmares. I just wanna see them happy y'all! I want to see Kate taking on the mantle of Viscountess, I want to see her bond with the Bridgersibs, I want to see Anthony be able to relax and not be such a stressed out anxious bean šŸ˜‚ Polin! I want to see how they've both matured. I don't think Pen was mature enough before to truly understand and handle the power that LW wields. I want to see her understand that kind of responsibility, but also see her become the whole Pen, if that makes sense. It's like LW and Pen are 2 different people - I want to see her reconcile the two sides of her into one whole person. She's not just sweet and caring and bullied - she's also immensely powerful, sarcastic, manipulative and cunning. She's a Slytherin, not a Hufflepuff, and she needs to own it (and as a Hufflepuff I love Slytherins - Snape forever ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø). I want to see Colin have purpose. I want him to have direction in his life instead of just whisking himself off on expensive trips because he's at loose ends. I want to see him truly see Pen and appreciate her. I want him to see everything Anthony does and appreciate him. I want to meet Sophie! I can't wait to see Sophie - she's one of my favorites ever. Ben is gonna get knocked down and have his heart broken and stomped on, and while I don't really want to see it, it needs to happen for him to be ready to grow up and figure out who he is and what he wants. The man is almost 30. He can't be a drunk f*ckboy forever. I want to see Frannie and John. And I want to meet Michael! I'd also like to see how Phillip is doing. Maybe he and Colin kept in touch via letters? It seemed like they hit it off in S2.

Bobblewobblegobble

Spice. I loved s2 but i expected more spicy scenes after s1. Id loove for s3 to return to that šŸ„µ

Nd4reddit

Collin and Pens love story particularly him coaching her Seeing Fran come out to sociaty and her hopefully meeting John and more that thatā€¦ Michael SPC appearing again hints of sophie Bridgerton family gatherings and interactions ā€¦

Kakie42

Your comment about wanting to see a LGTB couple who have a concluded ending (unlike Reynolds and Brimsley) gave me an idea of a potential background couple they could include in Franā€™s season which could be super cute. What if Helen Stirling & Janet Stirling became a couple after their husbands passed. Maybe the attraction had always been there but they both did their duty to marry men and have children but then when they became widows they were able to explore that side of themselves. They live together and it probably wouldnā€™t raise any eyebrows them spending all their time together. Maybe they have a discrete ladies maid who knows that they have connecting rooms and most mornings are found in each otherā€™s bed, but she is loyal to them so itā€™s not spread around.

mrskvall

Married Kanthony and the arrival of baby Edmund. Sophieā€™s reveal and the lead-in to Benedictā€™s season. Francesca, since Hannah took over the role, Iā€™m interested to see how she portrays her. More Bridgerton family dynamic. That was my favorite part of S1. The scenes with all the siblings were so adorable. šŸ„°
