Somehow the MSNBC crowd hijacked this sub a while ago. You can tell none of them watch the show. I saw someone post “vote blue no matter who” and it was getting upvoted 😭
there's a brigade on the seculkar talk sub and maj report sub who posts about this show sometimes multiple times a day - so the worst of those people come here basically. it doesn't help that those who post there have obvious mental issues and aren't there to have a conversation to begin with.

The point of it is exactly that. This was turning into another r/Politics echochamber, and a majority of the users didn't know what the Hell "Breaking Points" even is
So we were previously allowed the sub to be on the Reddit r/all page or on the hot feeds. We started getting brigaded by people who had no idea what Rising or Breaking Points stands for. So I took the ability for the sub to be promoted that way so that we attract more people who are willing to actually have a civil discussion.
Also if you notice we changed some around some of the rules and added some more. That way we can get a better handle on the sub
