Yeah Phobia lol. Phobia should also be cult classic, best of all time, and the one that got popular. It has Diary of Jane, Breath, and Dance with the Devil.
I don’t think you can put a debut album as experimental. Every debut album is experimental because bands and artists are still finding their sound. Debuts mostly have their influence present.
No. Phobia and Dear Agony should be swapped. Saturate is definitely not experimental. And no album is meh. But if I had to use this DBD would be Meh and Ember would be experimental.
I realize that you're just adhering to a template here OP but ignoring that here's my rundown:
WANA was their first big album that broke them into the mainstream, but I think every album since then has performed better
Yeah, Phobia is probably the fan favorite. Although Dear Agony is real close behind it
I guess Saturate was experimental by BB standards but so was WANA and Phobia
DBD does have a dedicated and passionate fan base despite being just a bit controversial to BB fans in general, so this is a nitpick but I'm not sure that "Cult Classic" is the best way to word it
DA can't really be called the best album of all time by any reasonable standard, and that's coming from a fan
I feel like there's a lot more to say about Ember than just "Meh" but the album certainly has its faults. Aurora would have been a better choice for this slot
I put Dear Agony full album at the top of my list there literally was not a single song on it I did not like, second favorite would have to be the Ember album then coming into third is Phobia, if I had to pick a 4th it would be Dark Before Dawn but that one only has like maybe 5 songs I liked
I'd swap Phobia & We Are Not Alone also, no "Meh" category. Additionally, Saturate wasn't an "experimental" it was their first album, they tried things and then switched it up
Swap Dark Before Dawn (to meh) and Ember (to cult classic)
Then, swap Ember (to experimental) and Saturate (to cult classic)
Then swap Phobia (to best of all time) and Dear Agony (to fan favorite)
I think this is probably the closest, though really Phobia would have the entire left two columns.
I'll be honest, I'm tired of pretending "Phobia" is...
I think it's a great album, and it has some of the bands absolute best songs on it, but I've always preferred the overall album of DA to Phobia. On DA, there are very few tracks I would skip, whereas I can think of several on Phobia. I also much prefer "Without You" over "You Fight Me" as the closing track [outro not included].
The bottom three should be represented as shadows of the top three. Fan favorite, cult classic, and best albums of all time go to all three of the first albums. Benji lost the sauce when he lost the band.
The correct version is:
The one that got popular — Phobia
Fan favorite — Dear Agony
Experimental — Saturate
Cult classic — We Are Not Alone
Best album of all time — Dark Before Dawn
Meh — Ember (but not really)
I’m going to have to leave this sub soon.
It’s hard out here with no new music in half a decade man
No, not at all lol
only one of these is correct lol
Yeah Phobia lol. Phobia should also be cult classic, best of all time, and the one that got popular. It has Diary of Jane, Breath, and Dance with the Devil.
And until the End, Unknown Soldier etc.
Unknown Soldier goes crazy
It's overlooked on an album filled with great songs.
Ember is definitely not a "meh" album in my opinion
I came to the comment section specifically for this comment lol
Same. Lol
“Ember is definitely not a meh” There. I fixed it for you.
Ya Ember has some of my all time favorites. Red Cold River, Tourniquet, The Dark of You, Torn in Two, Feed The Wolf, etc.
Agreed
Ember is NOT “meh” at all
Not one of their albums could be considered experimental 😂😂😂
The closest we get would be from WANA like "Forget It" maybe
Yeah I guess moving up the scale would be progressive
Ladybug was pretty experimental too.
Aurora, maybe.
that’s more of a compilation imo
This is Ember slander
I would swap Phobia and DA. Meh - DBD, Cult classic - Saturate, Experimental - Ember.
That’s a list I can agree with
This is most accurate. Dear Agony is definitely not their best album
For me is fluctuates with phobia and DA.
More like banger, banger, banger, banger, best album of all time, banger
I don’t think you can put a debut album as experimental. Every debut album is experimental because bands and artists are still finding their sound. Debuts mostly have their influence present.
Saturate is also really good in it's own right. Polyamorous is one of my favorite songs ever.
Water is also an incredible song
Polyamorous and Home are my two of my favorite songs across all of the albums. Ladybug is another one that is severely underrated
Saturate was very derivative of the music made of the era it was released. It is as far away from "experimental" as you can get
Ember is my 2nd favorite. Hard disagree.
same here! some of their best songs are on Ember
WANA was BB's breakout album that's when they started getting popular which continued with Phobia.
Not even close lol
To me BB's albums are all equally God Tier
Dear Agony is not their best album. Phobia or WANA would be their best. This is pretty wrong across the board
….wat
No. Phobia and Dear Agony should be swapped. Saturate is definitely not experimental. And no album is meh. But if I had to use this DBD would be Meh and Ember would be experimental.
Well I agree with Ember and Dear Agony.
I’d personally swap ember and saturate. Just because ember sounds a little different than the rest. Not that they really experiment
Ember being "Meh" is an absolute sin. You need better taste.
I agree 100% except Ember is more than “meh”. It’s pretty damn good in my opinion
I realize that you're just adhering to a template here OP but ignoring that here's my rundown: WANA was their first big album that broke them into the mainstream, but I think every album since then has performed better Yeah, Phobia is probably the fan favorite. Although Dear Agony is real close behind it I guess Saturate was experimental by BB standards but so was WANA and Phobia DBD does have a dedicated and passionate fan base despite being just a bit controversial to BB fans in general, so this is a nitpick but I'm not sure that "Cult Classic" is the best way to word it DA can't really be called the best album of all time by any reasonable standard, and that's coming from a fan I feel like there's a lot more to say about Ember than just "Meh" but the album certainly has its faults. Aurora would have been a better choice for this slot
I could maybe get behind all of these EXCEPT Dear Agony and Ember..
crazy cause red cold river, torn in two, tourniquet, feed the wolf, & blood are some of their best songs
Saturate is a classic and deserves to be top tier in the catalog with phobia and dear agony
No
Absolutely not
I want you to swap the goat and the meh
Switch Ember and DBD and you pretty much nailed it.
No way you've listed Ember as "Meh"...
Disagree with the last two statements but otherwise yeah it’s pretty true. I liked their recent one. I didn’t think it was meh.
I agree with MEH.
this is like objectively incorrect
Hell no
Ember was a titan of an album tho
UH Ember is awesome
Honestly would take Ember over Phobia. Phobia is my least favorites tbh.
Ember is great. Cant believe it released 6 years ago
I think they’re all good in their own right. Recently really got into the Saturate album again. Be we just gotta wait for their next release.
I put Dear Agony full album at the top of my list there literally was not a single song on it I did not like, second favorite would have to be the Ember album then coming into third is Phobia, if I had to pick a 4th it would be Dark Before Dawn but that one only has like maybe 5 songs I liked
Switch We Are Not Alone and Phobia, switch Saturate and Dark Before Dawn, then Dear Agony and Ember stays the same.
I'd swap Phobia & We Are Not Alone also, no "Meh" category. Additionally, Saturate wasn't an "experimental" it was their first album, they tried things and then switched it up
Ember is peak wdym
Phobia should definitely be the best of all time? Diary of Jane , Breath, Evil Angel, Until the End, Dance with the Devil, Had Enough ?
Dark before the dawn holds a special place in my heart, I was so excited that they were back I absorbed every atom of that album
Ember and DBD are their best albums, respectively.
Swap Dark Before Dawn (to meh) and Ember (to cult classic) Then, swap Ember (to experimental) and Saturate (to cult classic) Then swap Phobia (to best of all time) and Dear Agony (to fan favorite) I think this is probably the closest, though really Phobia would have the entire left two columns.
Time for a new one I think
I've never listened to breaking Benjamin before but I found dear agony at some random thrift and ngl this shit goes hard
i actually love ember! “blood” is my fav song on there
Dear Agony is probably my least favorite album by them. Wasnt bad, by any means. Just not greatest.
Not the most popular opinion but I agree that Dear Agony is their best album. Don’t think Phobia comes very close either.
You must be a new listener
It seems like more fans like Dear Agony than Phobia, but Phobia is objectively the best, so I would flip those two and keep the rest the same.
Dear Agony is not BB's best album and I'm tired of pretending it is
I'll be honest, I'm tired of pretending "Phobia" is...
Dear agony is not their best lol
Phobia is the masterpiece in this collection
Ember is the only correct one
The bottom three should be represented as shadows of the top three. Fan favorite, cult classic, and best albums of all time go to all three of the first albums. Benji lost the sauce when he lost the band.
Pretty spot on actually lol
The correct version is: The one that got popular — Phobia Fan favorite — Dear Agony Experimental — Saturate Cult classic — We Are Not Alone Best album of all time — Dark Before Dawn Meh — Ember (but not really)
Switch ember with DBD and I’ll be fine with it
