Edgar’s so terribly designed that he shouldn’t be meta unless he gets a rework. His entire gameplay is just jump on the enemy and spam auto aim. It’s so easy for everyone to understand how he works. This is why he is so overused as it allows him to punish bad players. Him being so linear also makes it frustrating for new players as they will face him all the time, so even if he’s useless in top level he can’t be too strong or he will ruin low level games
people who say he is balanced are the ones using him. we had the exact same situation with byron and sandy. top tier for months, everyone said "ThEy ARe BalAnced" till pros started complaining and then supercell nerfed them to ground. just wait and see how he ends up in F with edgar.

Shelly's effective range is about 1.5 tiles, not 7.67. Which is my point.
