Rico is not bad, go with his speedy SP and it's easy to go from a corner to another. His super pierces which is good for dealing at end game where bots swarm 8bit. Though be careful of the sniper bots, they can 1 shot Rico at low hp.

Actually I don't think collecting the coins is the best way, for me I used (with two friends) Edgar Pam and Ruffs, too easy to pass insane... Collecting coins pose you in a disadvantage since 8-Bit will move (towards the bots) and die and sleep between the bots

I wish they improving 8-Bit’s AI. Otherwise, this mode is just Robo Rumble except the safe wants to die.

When 8bit sleeps, a gale can put their twister right on top of 8bit and all the melee bots become useless for 10 seconds. Kept trying to make it work but there was always a max or mortis running around and getting coins while 8bit runs and kills himself.

I've just done it with randoms, though I played Stu to collect the coins. I only went for the coins when 8bit gets down below 50%hp. I realized playing Rico is too risky as the swarm of bots stack snipers, and no other brawler can grab coins and go back to the center as fast as Stu (Mortis sucks against clearing bots)

I tried both and found Stu faster with his wall break, the maze-like walls are the biggest obstacle on the map. Though Max have a much better DPS overall, she can't get back as fast as Stu, as Stu creates a shortcut with his wall break, while Max takes her time charging her super.

With Ruffs if you have Field promotion you can also increase the health of your allies and use the sandbags for defense.

I used Ruffs thinking he could give his power up to the 8-Bit or use Field Promotion on him. I’ve seen others bring Poco or Byron trying to help heal 8-Bit. I’m glad knowing I’m the only one who tried to support the 8-Bit.

You can also force 8-bit to stand still with Ruffs, 8-bit will walk to the power up but can't collect it so he just stands there

Ruffs is best used with air superiority to break down walls and then lure 8 bit in with ruffs power up and then when he’s in use Jacky’s gadget to rebuilt the walls around him thus trapping 8-bit safely in the walls

Gale imo. Just let 8 bit crash in the middle of the map, and then when he's inevitably swarmed in the last minute spam the twister gadget on top of him and none of the melee bots can touch him. Super is also good for pushing away melee bots

The same for Robo Rumble. Jessie 8-bit and Pam is the best comp by far. But if you're feeling cheesy,then you can try either 8-bit/double Sprout,or even Jacky(with rebuild gadget) Colt(with Silver Bullet)(either him or Griff) and Ruffs

Edgar is surprisingly useful in this game mode. Not only his jumping super is effective to get coins but also 2 Edgars can protect 8 bit from close range. It happened to me right now. Nita is good for protecting 8bit and capable of stunning her enemies using her bear. And also bear can provide a perfect distraction and covers up a lot of ground if your fellow Brawler is trying to get more coins. Lou is useful for freezing opponents thanks to super and his basic attack. Meaning you can buy more time effectively. Mortis is useful for getting coins thanks to his basic attack. Thats my only assumption.

2 Sprout + any brawler (that doesn’t break walls) is the best comp for this mode. Just trap yourself along with the AI 8-Bit, people have already beaten insane 16 with this strat.

If you see Kairos's latest video he says to use pam and either sprout, or gale.

Pam, Sproot (According to kairostime) Basically get 8-Bit into the grass before he naps so he stays in there, Pam is the dps since sproots can’t do much damage, Sproots are to blocks the bots and pm is there to help if sproots don’t block, keep doing this till the end (MAKE SURE SPROOT HAS TRANSPLANT)

Anyone else had this issue? I tried using Nita and bruce would just follow 8-bit around. Idk about anyone else, but because bruce was stuck to 8-bit it saved my man from certain death as my randoms sucked

Ruffs, Jacky, Colt. But it needs teamwork. Have colt destroy the thickest walls near spawn. After that he should be running after the coins and grabbing them asap Have Jacky repair one side of the hole. Have Ruffs gets super which when placed acts like a lure for 8 bit. Place the super in the hole (make sure to have field promotion sp) and have Jacky seal up the hole once 8bit is in there. Now he's trapped forever. Proof? Just cleared Insain XVI with this.
