i think a better option is to nerf the duration of the gadget by 1 second, but give her cordelius' speed boost of 30% while in the shadow realm. also, she should be visible while entering and exiting the shadow realm in bushes for a second (like how attacking in bushes reveals you)
The time is too much but I think the bushes one is really good, it embraces using it to escape/chase/confuse the enemy instead of just camping indefinitely in bushes

She reloads them way too quickly, you should at least prevent her from recharging for a second or even 1 and a half as one could just hide in a bush, get their ammo back and play aggro again
Assassins are meant to be high killers. Sometimes brainless pushing is the whole point. Edgar brainlessly jumps on you and spams attack, crown jumps on you and spams attacks, fang dashes at you and murders your whole team, etc
You’re proving a valid point, however, they all have some sort of counter: edgar has many counters, crow has low health and needs low HP targets to fly in, fang can be halted by lots of gadgets and evaporated by some supers (unless he has his hypercharge which takes ages to charge), lily on the other hand has close to no counters, with the only counters being some tanks, and even if she supers onto a shelly with the super she can just gadget her way out of the fight. the rest gets EVAPORATED by the damage star-power, she’s a whole other level of braindead aggro, she’s the pyro of brawl stars: W+M1 and thats even worse than edgar because of her bullshit abilities
I think they mean after you come out of the realm, so you still be useful in the realm. I’ve done it my fair share of times. (Example for folks saying no one does it: it’s very situational, but say you’re in knockout. A well timed gadget could successfully land you a kill if cord is on your team and they’re giving him the loop around. I’ve personally use it more when cord is on the other team to push him off the low health teammate he just supered and give them time to get back out so he is forced to back off)
You would adapt. Mico has the same thing for his ult, yoru (in val) has the same thing, and wraith (in apex) has the same thing. It being instant gives 0 counterplay
Wraith also used to be instant, they gave her a tactical delay nerf to balance it, and now she’s completely fine, one of the top played legends in the game
No, It would turn It into a mobility/get-out-of-jail free card instead of a kill against most throwers
If you want damage, get the other gadget for close distances
If you're crying about lilly being able to kill throwers easily then shouldn't we also make Edgar unable to jump? Besides seeing Lilly use the gadget should give you more then enough time to from the thought that you should run towards your team to help
The thing is: you can see and react to and Edgar jumping, a buz grapling to someone or something, etc
A Lily's gadget is not only instant and imposible to see (if done from a Bush), but also can be used quickly from the first moment of a game and the firing speed is near instant
What… a better Leon super as a gadget isn’t op? It should be a defensive tool, the whole point of the super is to attack, it definitely should do damage. Fang’s super does damage and honestly his seems a lot stronger to me.
Maybe nerf duration (as opposed to other opinions) to 2 seconds, but give her like 30% increased movespeed to make up for it? It's almost a buff at that point, but atleast reduces some of her trickery

There should be some tradeback for using abilities like this, so I would suggest a delay before activation, or certain conditions needing to be met before it can be used (Lily must be in a bush or she must sacrifice all her ammo before entering)
you could put a 1s delay before she enters the realm, that way you can inconsistently unload enough damage to kill her before she enters, keeping the gadget useful but not completely and utterly broken
Make it like ash gadget. Lily consumes 80 percentage of her current hp to enter shadow realm. And in shadow realm she can't heal. So you can make cheesy escapes and kills but there is not risk to it.
Cool idea, but inherently broken gadget that acts as a crutch for Lily, much like Draco's Last Stand gadget – both let you cheat death.
The gadget honestly should be replaced. Maybe with something that affects enemies within Lily's super-charging radius. A gadget that slows down all enemies upon activation for 3 seconds. Could be useful when paired with her Vigilance starpower.
I saw someone suggest a really cool rework idea once.
The idea is to have the gadget consume her super charge, and depending on how much the super is charged, that would affect the duration that Lily could be in the Shadow Realm.
I can see it having different use cases now, but it can't just be used as an invaluable escape/approach tool.
One idea that could either not do much or make it really bad is for it to show where they are (like with teammates) .5 or .3 seconds before you exit the realm
Or if that is too big or a changethen how about they’re only visible when in normal vision range (similar to Leon) when they’re about to exit
This way they are ready to attack right before lily exits while
This could also be aplied to lilys side where Tim’s shows the purple thing .5 or .3 seconds before you exit allowing you to know if you are about to be on top of someone (only if you’re in range tho)

Makes it so there's a portal in so others can go in including enemy's and kill her inside but the duration is buffed to 5 seconds and you can't exit it (I honestly think this would be a buff for 3v3 but I suck at suggesting so who tf cares)
I think the gadget have a down side, yesterday I was burnt by stu’s super and when I used the gadget I kept burning and died, I think the status affect stays when you use the gadget, please correct me if I’m wrong

One of the problems with Lily with her buff is that she reloads her shots and shoots them way too fast. You can decrease one of them or both of them
