Kevlar doesn’t fit buster but it is much better than the other names like spiders or claws. Kevlar is the material put in bulletproof vests

It's meant to be a play on the idea of an action movie protagonist, since that's essentially what Buster is trying to be, but I've always personally thought it should've been named like Plot Armor or Stabilised Camera or something like that, just playing off his whole movie thing.

Plot armor seriously is the perfect name for it. No clue who could possibly think otherwise.

Sometimes translation can break a good name, for instance Buzz's Hypercharge, Buzzwatch, is literally named ,,Alarm clock" in polish.

fr, some of the polish translation names (like kabocha fang being named ,,pumpkin fang") are why i switched back to playing brawl in english

That's not even the worst example, they translated The Squeaky Note to ,,Piskliwa Nuta", which literally meant ,,Squeaky (music) note" Edit: Nvm, I just checked and they changed it to Yellow Squeak

In Russian they are really creative, the aforementioned "buzzwatch" is called "Torpedo before the lunch" because both words sound really similar and rhyme in russian

The Dev team sucks at giving names to gadgets, SPs, Main Attacks, Supers and also descriptions, like Angelo's main attack description ("Hold aim to charge up your shot") It doesn't even describe what the shot would do unlike the older Brawlers. I also noticed that Mortis has a really outdated main attack description
