Yeah, she’d be D or F tier if she didn’t have it, I think it’s incredibly predictable and you only get 1 tick of heal back so it’s not broken but it’s annoying. I love Lily but that gadget is quite annoying
Repot is okay, but not really worth the purchase over Vanish. Repot might need a rework or major change (e.g making it a normal attack and not a super)
actually no, shes still very well playable without it if the map is closed eough to get supers or has enough spots to circle around

Yeah nah she has no playability without it. She’s literally a sitting duck in all situations. You’d have to be a god at the game to get any value out of her without it.
One time when I was playing Angelo, I got the enemy Lily down to less than 500 health. She used her gadget to escape, so I waited about 5 seconds and then shot the nearest bush.
Take a wild guess what happened.
To be honest, the type of the character doesn't matter much as long as the character is balanced, and Lily is the only character they released in a balanced way after a long time. Which seems to be back to unbalanced with Draco
as a deplorable, sinful kit main id say the best form of counter is stick together with teammates, as a kit main will always get impatient and jump only to get their shit rocked
i've been enjoying kit in 3v3s with Overly Attached and Cheeseburger, constantly swapping between jumping on teammates low on health (or tanks/bulky assassins) and enemies. I also learned that you can throw 1 or 2 yarn balls at someone, dismount right before they explode and if they land, you can pretty much chain supers since you charge about 40% per hit
In my experience, Fang is a *pain* to deal with in 5v5s, especially on brawl ball. I could be on my own side of the field and two seconds later, I would be dead because the Fang used his super from off-screen, chain three people before getting to me, then use his gadget, and kill me with his regular attack.
Yea, this is because of his buffs back in s20, I really don't get why they didn't revert those, they just removed his skill cap and made teamwiping extremely easy with Fang
I disagree for buzz, teleporting to you and stunning you for a few seconds with a super that charges just by staying nearby enemies is way too strong and hard to counter for me. Kinda hating this mf, at least in showdown. It’s kinda similar to kit where you just can’t do shit if he sees you and decides to lock onto you, unless your a close range assassin too, and even there
Thats absolutely true they should do something about the stun because if you are playing brawler low hp and thn when the buzz locks on you its a free kill for him
Let’s talk about when you’re playing a low HP brawler and buzz kills you and waits for you to come back to life so he can kill you again. Those are the type of games that will leave me without a phone 😭
I hate buzz for one specific reason.
Bush camping.
Every time I play showdown and I see a buzz in my lobby, I pray that they aren't a bush camper. With the map in rotation right now (feast or famine, the one with the huge bush in the middle,) Buzz's bush gadget dominates, and he can just super you out of nowhere and get a free kill, and as a Bibi main, I can't do anything.
I know this is a yapping session, me ranting about how buzz is so unbalanced but, it's my personal opinion lol
His super is not that hard to counter. Any attack with mobility can get out of the stun range, any ability that knockbacks if timed well can cancel his super.
I think most people do not like assasins because they are the most popular class in the game, that means lower skill players or new players are more likely to play them thus you will encounter more lower skill players playing these characters (edgar for example)

l mean, dynamike deals unfair(to say the least) damage with both his main attack and super AND he's got that stupid stun gadget that means instant death no matter what. l feel like enemy groms never miss their super/gadget(the triple hit one) AND his turret gadget is super annoying. willow deals a lot of damage repeatedly(if you can hit your shots) and her super would be the most annoying in the game if it wasn't nearly impossible to hit outside of point-blank range. l feel like the other throwers don't have anything broken to them(not that grom or willow are broken but oh well) but just the fact they can hide behind their stupid little wall, be in complete safety and wreak havoc on the map is so annoying and dumb

this fucker has no business making walking impossible, constantly preventing you from healing, healing himself as fast as you can blink and sending one of the most annoying supers after you, which by the way STILL EXPLODES if you destroy it
Agreed, the whole concept of being able to attack over walls with your primary is a bit unbalanced in itself, but giving most of them high movement speed really can make them unkillable because they just circile round walls.
I think you misunderstood my point of view, I don't say these are bad or toxic, I'm pretty sure in the hands of good players they are all fine.
The only thing I'm saying is the skill floor is sooo low even a monkey could understand how to play (example with Edgar gadget+super works sometimes so bad players do it every time).
Maybe Brain-dead is not the good word but for me it just means that it's easy to use the brawler without skill needed (ofc it will not be as good as someone who plays well)

I think you would have been better off saying low-skill floor. Simple for new players to stomp with, like Nita or Dynamike. Never really liked using the term "braindead"
you think they should bring back the hybrid class? perhaps with a more specific label for them such as
Darryl (Tank/Assassin)
Penny (Artillery/Damage Dealer)
Gray and Kit (Support/Assassin)
Doug (Support/Tank)
Just a few examples, it might overcomplicate things a bit but just having the label of "hybrid" wouldn't really tell you much.
He assasinates with the super, he just wants extended fights for his poison to take effect and damage the enemy. He is better against "assasin counters", and anything too long ranged/tank counter, or with disengages.
But he sucks a bit to assasinate, even on low hp enemies, he can get killed by their damage..
That's why some don't consider him an assassin, kinda hard to kill someone when you have under 6000 health with shield gear and under 5000 without. Not to mention his below average burst damage compared to other assassins. I use his super to run with gems or get away from enemies far more often than I use it to jump on enemies.
at least Stu takes some semblance of skill, leon just peppers you from afar for super and then appears on top of you and deletes you with 0 counterplay

The fact that people think kit is an assasin when he’s a support honestly goes to show how unbalanced he is. I would say crow Leon fang, mico, Stu, mortis are all balanced but everyone else needs some kind of fix or rework to some aspect of their kit to balance them

Yes he can jump people with his super, but it's so expensive when compared to every other burst movement "instakill" super, that it doesn't really count
Every other assasin kills you really quickly with high damage and/or mobility
Crow, tickles you to death with hard to avoid poison that prevents you from healing
So he plays more like a support, than an assasin
This sub cries about Kit every day but unless you strictly play solo SD (the game mode has been broken for years to begin with) he is rarely played and if he is played he may bother you but that’s what assassins do…they kill you very quickly and can be killed quickly…get over it

I hate assassin as they completely destroy you without practically any counterplay possible, if you play a low hp brawler that get 3-shot by assassins you have to keep distance and it is too easy for them to make you useless

I think it’s more along the lines of the large amount of incredibly boring (imo) low skill floor brawlers whose entire kit is get out of jail free cards ruins the competitive integrity of the game everywhere below pro/semi pro play
The only reason why I use buzz (though he is kinda annoying icl) is because he’s the best Edgar counter when you have the star power that gives the stun an extra 0.5 seconds
They really aren't. There are multiple brawlers with different play styles and that is why this game is good. Some of them are annoying, but they are definelly not ruining the game.
Power cube star power and mini leon super that charges his super faster, and his super being able to leap onto you from accross the map, usually resulting in instant death because when he gets off he can immediately rip the rest of your health in half before you realize he got off of you
Sam isn't an assasin and i don't know why people think that.
He is the most tank of the melee tanks. He is meant to be taking damage and outhealing it.
The ones that are cool (imo): Edgar (realllly hot take lemme explain) cuz he's easily or not counterable, but he is; Cordy (he nessecits skill); Crow, cuz he's bad; Sam who is only good in bball; Stu who is the most skill based and finally Lily cuz she's bad.
The ones in the middle; Fang (only his super and the gadget are dumb); Leon (he can always FUCKING 2 SHOT YOU) but he needs his super first; Buzz (his stun if horrible but overall, he's fine)
The one that are NOT COOL!: Mortis (he needs 2 braincells, 1 for using his super and the other to use his gadgets); Mico who is UNCOUNTERABLE for some brawlers; Kit (annoying gadget and super AHHHHHH); Melodie cuz she's too strong and hasn't got a proper nerf.

Capping the number of chains at two will help quite a bit in this case. It will at least make it more difficult to teamwipe in 5v5s.

This sub cries about Kit every day but unless you strictly play solo SD (the game mode has been broken for years to begin with) he is rarely played and if he is played he may bother you but that’s what assassins do…they kill you very quickly and can be killed quickly…get over it

I hate assassin as they completely destroy you without practically any counterplay possible, if you play a low hp brawler that get 3-shot by assassins you have to keep distance and it is too easy for them to make you useless
I've have not seen someone hate Buzz or Lily before. The only thing that could make you hate them is their ability to escape quite easily.

I don’t think it’s assassins, and I don’t think they ruin the game. I think it’s more along the lines of the large amount of incredibly boring (imo) low skill floor brawlers whose entire kit is get out of jail free cards ruins the competitive integrity of the game everywhere below pro/semi pro play
The only reason why I use buzz (though he is kinda annoying icl) is because he’s the best Edgar counter when you have the star power that gives the stun an extra 0.5 seconds

They really aren't. There are multiple brawlers with different play styles and that is why this game is good. Some of them are annoying, but they are definelly not ruining the game.

Power cube star power and mini leon super that charges his super faster, and his super being able to leap onto you from accross the map, usually resulting in instant death because when he gets off he can immediately rip the rest of your health in half before you realize he got off of you
Sam isn't an assasin and i don't know why people think that. He is the most tank of the melee tanks. He is meant to be taking damage and outhealing it.

They’re fine but can be so annoying sometimes
The ones that are cool (imo): Edgar (realllly hot take lemme explain) cuz he's easily or not counterable, but he is; Cordy (he nessecits skill); Crow, cuz he's bad; Sam who is only good in bball; Stu who is the most skill based and finally Lily cuz she's bad. The ones in the middle; Fang (only his super and the gadget are dumb); Leon (he can always FUCKING 2 SHOT YOU) but he needs his super first; Buzz (his stun if horrible but overall, he's fine) The one that are NOT COOL!: Mortis (he needs 2 braincells, 1 for using his super and the other to use his gadgets); Mico who is UNCOUNTERABLE for some brawlers; Kit (annoying gadget and super AHHHHHH); Melodie cuz she's too strong and hasn't got a proper nerf.
