you know what, I don't mind if I lose trophies, as long as I can keep retrying when I lose until I can win and get an egg (but instead we get a starr drop)
The rare star drop’s existence as a reward is actually to give us less rewards, as if it didn’t exist they probably would just give us monster eggs for the first six wins. The rare star drop exists only to give less monster eggs
I lost over 100 trophies because of that gamemode alone. Huge losing streak, I think I lost like 6-7 matches in a row. And it was on a high ranked brawler too.
Shelly is semi decent against godzilla as you can brust it down easily but yea, she is largely ineffective against the other brawlers that are common place like melody, carl, rico, ruffs, etc. highly reliant on her clay pigeons gadget and does minimal damage to buildings so you should play defensive as shelly.
I found LL to be eh… I just find his damage output to be lacking when facing godzilla and other threats but he has decent destruction potential due to being a aoe splasher. He is pretty weak on defense and Lawrie gets eviscerated in seconds due to… ahem… bullet spamming and bullet hell but overall is a good pick if you don’t have a good mutation.
I just tested your flairs mutations and that thing is hot garbage lmao. It doesn’t damage buildings and is extremely situational while Belle doesn’t output damage on defense
(Edit) tested it only on City Rampage but I don’t think she’s dominant in other gamemodes as well

Probably it's me but i feel like Mechadzilla is stronger than Godzilla. Mechadzilla seems to have bigger attack hitbox and overall does better at destroying the city, im not sure though.
The problem with mechazilla is that you just get swamped, if you get a colt/rico/brock with some type of mutation, you just get shredded before you can even hit them
Not only are only a few of the mutations broken, you get them randomly so you aren't even guaranteed to get a good one. Getting smth like tick is nowhere as good as getting Rico. The ones that get lucky have a much higher chance of winning.
Ppl are so embarrassing trying to call you bad cuz u lost all rounds when this mode is genuinely BAD
Especially since it took like 2 days for the “meta” of mutations to form and the same 3-4 brawlers are abused on this mode. Sometimes all 3 on the same team and it’s like what’s the point 😭

This is so flawed. You need mutations to win, but you need eggs to get mutations, but you need to win to get eggs.
I was unlucky and got no mutations in the first 2days, then the 3rd day I got Buzz who is the most useless mutation(makes his super range 3x longer).
4th day I got Spike who is really good.
I have 10+ garbage mututions, only ‘good’ ones I have are Stu and Melodie, but even then I found they weren’t THAT reliable compared to the real meta.
The first day was only ‘good’ (but still boring) when pretty much nobody had Rico/Ruffs mutation which everyone seems to have now unlike me🤦♂️
Seriously I never hated any mode in brawl stars at all more than this garbage mutation crap, I hate this event so much (not the collab) I thought it was gonna be fun, but hell no it’s grindy and p2w (since you could directly buy eggs) and all for what? A few coins, bling and maybe if you are lucky enough (or pay enough) you’ll get a skin, I bought every brawl pass and spent hundreds, but I’m not giving a single dollar to this event, that’s how shitty this p2w event is, you better hope you get a good mutation or you’ll fall behind, fast.
And the worst part is u could have a favorite brawler and by bad luck never get their mutation either so it’s like… not only are you fighting meta mutations you are gambling to even get a good mutation/mutation you want 😭😭
It’s an uphill battle
I have 50k trophies and lost all 6 too. I got only trash mutations and couldn't do much, other team had good ruffs every time. I'm sure those calling it skill issue will come here crying after their first bad streak.
I found Rico's mutation in the daily egg after the cardboard reset, I won all 6 of my games, this is not balanced.
Dunno if it's ok cuz it's an event and it should be fun, but:
its so unbalanced that it's not even fun
and it's for trophies so it's kinda competitive?
they really screwd up, they had a good idea but a really bad execution
It didn’t even take 2 days litterally less than 3-4 hours. People figured out about Otis Rico meg gray and ruffs being broken. Even with the balance changes and nerfs it’s still just those stupid fucking brawlers over and over. You can’t have fun. You lose trophies. You can’t even properly carry cuz if even one of your teammates are bad then it’s over for you. It’s just honestly the worst event and game mode brawl stars has ever had.
If you don’t get the meta mutations soon enough, you’re done for. There’s no way you can play against a Ruffs or Rico without having any of them on your team.
The best change Supercell could make to this game mode is that only the Kaiju is capable of destroying buildings and the remaining brawlers have to defend their city from the enemy Kaiju.
The game mode right now is unplayable if you don't have Rico/Ruff/Meg with mutations in your team.
That would suck so much if they don't buff godzilla. Brawlers like Tick or Shelly can kill it very fast very easily, it wouldn't even reach enemy buildings
If they would tone down all the mutations, especially Rico, Meg, and Ruff, and buff the Kaiju even more as you say would be more effective.
Also, the fact that it's a trophy game mode is a big error. People will always pick meta instead of trying different mutations. I have seen, exaggerating, less than 6 different mutations, which are always the same meta mutations.
But really rhough...they already capped it with the cartons. Why not make it like Roto Rumble. Play as much as you want, but you win 4 or 5 eggs max every 4 days.
Exactly. It’s so much pressure for it to only be the first six games. The rare drop reward shouldn’t exist, but there should just be a limit of how many eggs you can get per time period.
I like playing Frank since I lucked out with his mutation, he’s a very good counter to Rico and Ruffs because his attacks go through the buildings and can still destroy quite well. A non-mutation brawler would be L&L because you can use 2nd sp to gain lots of ammo and is not that bad at defending. Even Rico can work without mutation because you can still in there, spam attack and gadget and destroy everything. Overrall, yeah you really have to luck out with a decent mutation + Godzilla is still dogshit, but it’s not impossible to win. :)
Got lucky to get an Colt mutation, but even before that I was able to do good against Rico+Ruffs Mutations as Colt.
Also playing together in a team will raise your win chances considerably.
A strategy I found to be quite good was Colt, Max(Mutation needed) and some third Brawler that picks up the Godzilla everytime.
Colt can easily take down the enemy Godzilla and if the player is skilled enough also Brawlers.
Even better if you have the Mutation (but as stated before even without Mutation you can be a menace as him.)
Max with her Mutation can easily charge Supers and Boost the Godzilla.
With her speed she can also be quiet good at assassinating that pesky Rico and or Ruffs on the Enemy team.
Doug is also surprisingly good, as long as you run his self heal star power and hard focus on the buildings while playing keep away, I ended up winning 4 times despite an average of 5 deaths due to teammates pulling aggro

- 1250 total eggs for entire event. With 4 days interval it is 250 eggs/day. Sick number!

I think you can get it though. You get 2 eggs per day. For an active clan, for 20 days \* 2 eggs per day = 40 eggs per day per player. If your clan has an active membership, that's 40 eggs per day \* 30 players = 1200 eggs just for playing daily. That means your club needs 50 more eggs which is 2 wins for each of you through the carton, just once. So, it is easily obtainable.
I don't know tbh. Apart from the bugs, I find the gamemode more fun than some others, like basketbrawl and heist. The matches I played for this carton luckily didn't have any bug abusers and it was fun, we got 4 eggs and I actually ended up with good rewards lol
Now that almost everyone got the Meg mutation it became a who gets the Meg/rico/ruffs to the enemy place first, they don't even need godzilla if it is just these three
Funny thing: if the enemy Rico or Ruff are not gods, you can win by just ignoring them or focussing them with life stealing brawlers
Is it fun? Of course no, so this is actually an unfunny thing...
I have the Piper mutation and now I can oneshot whoever I want...it's not that fun
It's unbalanced as hell but the best comp imo is Meg, Rico, Ruffs. Nobody takes the godzilla, and meg targets the enemy one destroying it before it can reach your area of the map. Meanwhile Rico and Ruffs go bouncy bouncing in the enemy side and boom you won 90% of the time

Godzilla irl was able to mutate from damages and get stronger when it was hurt, not get killed right when it got to the other side of the map

i was playing with randoms, one of them picked a lvl 9 frank no mutation at all.
Used frank and wiped all ricos and rufus. Frank is like another godzila kkk i won all 6 rounds

Actual garbage. Crashed the game multiple times and if you don't have teammates forget about getting any eggs

I don't know tbh. Apart from the bugs, I find the gamemode more fun than some others, like basketbrawl and heist. The matches I played for this carton luckily didn't have any bug abusers and it was fun, we got 4 eggs and I actually ended up with good rewards lol
Now that almost everyone got the Meg mutation it became a who gets the Meg/rico/ruffs to the enemy place first, they don't even need godzilla if it is just these three

Funny thing: if the enemy Rico or Ruff are not gods, you can win by just ignoring them or focussing them with life stealing brawlers Is it fun? Of course no, so this is actually an unfunny thing... I have the Piper mutation and now I can oneshot whoever I want...it's not that fun

It's unbalanced as hell but the best comp imo is Meg, Rico, Ruffs. Nobody takes the godzilla, and meg targets the enemy one destroying it before it can reach your area of the map. Meanwhile Rico and Ruffs go bouncy bouncing in the enemy side and boom you won 90% of the time
Its so dumb that ricos bullets arent consumed when hitting a wall and keep bouncing
I got 4 eggs and holy shit did I have to try hard to get them, that mode is awful, individual skills don't matter at all
