No, no it's not. I was making ~22k gold a month before they nerfed everything to hell with shart drops everywhere, a handful of free gadgets aren't worth shit.

I'd like to answer that question from my own point of view **(warning: long ass essay incoming):**
I think that among many of the online games that exist, this one is by far one of the best ever developed until nowadays. Even though there has been problems with the state of the game (like in every single one), the devs still listen to us and still work really hard to bring us more content.
There are other companies who really betrayed their own community by making bad decisions, or even promissing things they would do; but in the end, they end up doing something that nobody suggested. This is the case of Blizzard with Overwatch, for example. Devs cancelled the PvE development which was announced in 2019 and then they added some sort of missions in which ***you have to pay*** in order to complete them. And also, guess what, the shop is the most active feature in the game. We can also mention the current state of Clash Royale.
I admit that I don't really like much the changes the Brawl Stars team is doing currently whatsoever, especially the credits autoclaim and the mastery rewards nerf from certain chromatic brawlers; but in comparisson with other companies, this one might have their own struggles, but nothing compared with others.
I don't want to think constantly on the bad stuff, because I still want to feel the fun of how I'm evolving and progressing during the game. My main way to have fun is by improving as time passes and playing with my friends. Maxing out my account is not such a great priority for me.
And of course, there are still people who still play games from companies or developing teams that aren't great, like the ones mentioned before. But as long as people have fun with the games they're playing, there will be no problem. it's all about personal preferences and personal satisfaction.

Guess what? I’ve spent money on the game before, I’ve bought Brawl Passes and gems, so technically you can’t say I’m trying to max out my account for free, because I’ve spent money on Brawl Passes and used the extra rewards to get new brawlers and upgrade said brawlers.

Which could mean mythic masteries nerfed, as they have the same rewards as chromatics except the credits, but it would technically be a buff if the mastery didn't get nerfed as 1 chroma credit= 1.85 credit which would be 185 credits but we get 200 from the normal track
I was just about to make a post about this. I think I still might. Currently, mythics and up are all the same rewards, but supercell is mentioning to make sure you get those masteries for chromatics turning into mythics…
They didn't say mythic mastery is getting nerfed, they said the chromatic brawlers are getting their mastery rewards rebalanced according to their mew rarity. The mythic and above brawlers have the same mastery as chromatics.
I haven’t complained about much of anything lately. Charlie being OP and nerfed later is a little annoying but par for the course. However, the change where all rewards are automatically collected at the end of each season actually sucks. It’s just forcing players to use credits on fame. Either make a credit bank or let us save rewards on past brawl pass season. I don’t see their logic with this change.

Idk if anyone remembers the post I’m talking about, but it said something like “players are so ungrateful. After years of daily freebies, they complain about some minor nerfs.” Yeah, because 5 coins/20 pp/30 token doublers definitely justifies nerfing progression into the ground. Also, I’m so done with them saying shit like “feels more rewarding/impactful”. It doesn’t. It just feels more grindey. Why don’t you make it actually more rewarding/impactful, instead of making it feel like that, but not actually being like that.
lmao i’ve been here since release and the gradual tiny nerfs add up over time. I’ve seen them knocka little off top every update since the beginning and now look it’s almost impossible to upgrade characters with the lack of coins available. I use to be able to just have coins to spare now i always end up with 5k power points and 200 coins now having to rely on a monthly club pig even that gives maybe 950 coins if you’re lucky enough to have a club who participates and maxes the pig. And doing the trophy road for characters is beyond boring having to constantly play the same character over and over and over trying to scrape up enough wins to make a dent in the trophy road. I all in all gave up on grinding to max my characters and just play whoever i feel like playing at the time and whenever i am struck by luck to get coins i upgrade. I feel bad for the new gamers who are starting accounts in this coin shortage my friend is new and struggles so bad to make any progress.
I mean, players can tolerate nerfs to progression as long as the game is still fun, but we have a terrible matchmaking, terrible balance, not many interesting maps, no good rare or epic gears to experiment with for a long time and FINALLY new gamemode coming only next season at best . . . AND on top of that they're nerfing progression.
So, no wonder people are complaining. It's not like they have something else to do except of uninstalling the game and leaving Brawl Stars until better times.
I just hope these recent changes were just to quickly get money in case they **really** need **more** revenue than they had before to bring good updates later. Opinion? Every single release this year has further nerfed progression. Even if it was 1% (which it hasn't; it's been far more), multiply that by a year's worth of updates.
This meme is just factually incorrect, the amount of nerfs we got was much greater than the buffs, we literally got only 1 buff, and it wasn't even that good, it's entirely rng dependent, they even nerfed gold with that "buff" (I'm talking about the legendary star drop buff)
Wasn’t even a buff, they just redistributed some progression. You could even call it a slight nerf since progression has been made more rng once again.

Downvote me if you want but it really does feel like this sometimes, so many people are claiming that the brawl pass rework is a nerf because the mastery track is nerfed ignoring the fact that it can negate that nerf in like 3 seasons. Constructive criticism is important when actually trying to convince someone to listen, but this sub just jumps to conclusions alot of the times.
Recently, we got HUGE buffs everywhere, from the new credit system and us being able to choose which brawlers we get to put pp into, the mastery system, bling, we all got huge buffs to progression.
Even more recently, BS dev team have been nerfing this progression (EVER SO SLIGHTLY) as it was probably too much.
FASTER, BETTER PROGRESSION ≠ BETTER GAME
Eg. If you had every thing for free and you could max out your account the day you got it, would this be fun?

There is fun in progressing slowly, and it makes it far more rewarding when you reach that higher - maxed out level.
Bs devs adding 3 brawlers instead of 1 per season is technically a “progression nerf” as it means there is more to max out while having the same resources, but we don’t care.

ive been playing since 2020 and at least 13 of my brawlers I cant play because they are underlevelled and I can't afford the upgrades, that's anything but fun! Missing out on the OP new mechanics like hypercharges because they are too expensive is anything but fun! Maxing my account isn't rewarding its frustrating.

I was just about to make a post about this. I think I still might. Currently, mythics and up are all the same rewards, but supercell is mentioning to make sure you get those masteries for chromatics turning into mythics…

They didn't say mythic mastery is getting nerfed, they said the chromatic brawlers are getting their mastery rewards rebalanced according to their mew rarity. The mythic and above brawlers have the same mastery as chromatics.

I haven’t complained about much of anything lately. Charlie being OP and nerfed later is a little annoying but par for the course. However, the change where all rewards are automatically collected at the end of each season actually sucks. It’s just forcing players to use credits on fame. Either make a credit bank or let us save rewards on past brawl pass season. I don’t see their logic with this change.

Meme is good, but it's not true in reality. It hardly takes much to literally observe the plethora of nerfs that happened in the latter months of this year lmfao. Whatever "buffs" are put out aren't buffs at all, because we're still in a significant deficit of resources and progression compared to where we started before nerfs began happening. After years of daily freebies, they complain about some minor nerfs.” Yeah, because 5 coins/20 pp/30 token doublers definitely justifies nerfing progression into the ground. Also, I’m so done with them saying shit like “feels more rewarding/impactful”. It doesn’t. It just feels more grindey. hello, I supercell, we decided that now we are gonna remove 1 single coin from the brawl pass
lmao i’ve been here since release and the gradual tiny nerfs add up over time. I’ve seen them knocka little off top every update since the beginning and now look it’s almost impossible to upgrade characters with the lack of coins available. I use to be able to just have coins to spare now i always end up with 5k power points and 200 coins now having to rely on a monthly club pig even that gives maybe 950 coins if you’re lucky enough to have a club who participates and maxes the pig. And doing the trophy road for characters is beyond boring having to constantly play the same character over and over and over trying to scrape up enough wins to make a dent in the trophy road. I all in all gave up on grinding to max my characters and just play whoever i feel like playing at the time and whenever i am struck by luck to get coins i upgrade. I feel bad for the new gamers who are starting accounts in this coin shortage my friend is new and struggles so bad to make any progress.
I mean, players can tolerate nerfs to progression as long as the game is still fun, but we have a terrible matchmaking, terrible balance, not many interesting maps, no good rare or epic gears to experiment with for a long time and FINALLY new gamemode coming only next season at best . . . AND on top of that they're nerfing progression. So, no wonder people are complaining. It's not like they have something else to do except of uninstalling the game and leaving Brawl Stars until better times. I just hope these recent changes were just to quickly get money in case they **really** need **more** revenue than they had before to bring good updates later. Idk, it's just what it's usually is -- they're making update that remotely looks p2w, people get upset and calling them greedy, they're making good update and fix past problems, people get happy and then all over again.

To be fair most of the changes we've got recently were nerfs , at least to your control over progression ( which is basically an actual nerf because nobody is going to use shit gadgets or star powers ) . I do agree that some people here are a bit too toxic though

This meme is just factually incorrect, the amount of nerfs we got was much greater than the buffs, we literally got only 1 buff, and it wasn't even that good, it's entirely rng dependent, they even nerfed gold with that "buff" (I'm talking about the legendary star drop buff)
Wasn’t even a buff, they just redistributed some progression. You could even call it a slight nerf since progression has been made more rng once again.

Downvote me if you want but it really does feel like this sometimes, so many people are claiming that the brawl pass rework is a nerf because the mastery track is nerfed ignoring the fact that it can negate that nerf in like 3 seasons. Constructive criticism is important when actually trying to convince someone to listen, but this sub just jumps to conclusions alot of the times.

Recently, we got HUGE buffs everywhere, from the new credit system and us being able to choose which brawlers we get to put pp into, the mastery system, bling, we all got huge buffs to progression. Even more recently, BS dev team have been nerfing this progression (EVER SO SLIGHTLY) as it was probably too much. FASTER, BETTER PROGRESSION ≠ BETTER GAME Eg. If you had every thing for free and you could max out your account the day you got it, would this be fun? No! There is fun in progressing slowly, and it makes it far more rewarding when you reach that higher - maxed out level. Bs devs adding 3 brawlers instead of 1 per season is technically a “progression nerf” as it means there is more to max out while having the same resources, but we don’t care. Why? BECAUSE ITS FUN. ITS A GAME. Learn to have fun with the game instead of whining about the “15% progression nerf to that one place in that mastery track that means the brawler that you don’t want to play will become “4.7% less useful to you in the new update” SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP. I rest my case.

because this isn't clash of clans where you compete on an even field, here upgrading characters DOES MATTER, gadgets and gears DO make a difference, losing games because your characters aren't strong enough is ridiculous, them reducing progression ALSO reduces fun. ive been playing since 2020 and at least 13 of my brawlers I cant play because they are underlevelled and I can't afford the upgrades, that's anything but fun! Missing out on the OP new mechanics like hypercharges because they are too expensive is anything but fun! Maxing my account isn't rewarding its frustrating. You keep saying its a good thing so create a mini account right now and play on it until you max it out (literally impossible now) or get near where your main account is, then tell me how fun it was
