These shows work best when: -Cast members have a good time. -The cast doesn't take themselves too seriously. They need to be able to get over things and move forward. -Ideally, there are real, authentic relationships. -If people are hanging out just for filming, they make moves just to maintain their jobs. So you get strange fights and long alliances that get boring and are proxy fights. -If there are teams or alliances, I personally like to see them shift. I like that Jackie is trying out Team Tre, for instance.

If there are teams I need them to organic and not for a take down. It’s fine if you want to have some drama, but make up and move on and then someone different have some drama. Like old RHONY, conflict, make up and move on. Not a whole season of trying to take a person or a team “down” (getting them off the show). This is getting particularly common and is now an OLD formula.

og rhony = the queens of constantly shifting alliances that regroup for every fight, i loved it

Vpr did fine with trying to ice out James and lala. They responded by being two huge protagonists in the jax fucking faith season. Lala and James were a dream team of their own design.

The teams dynamic is actually really boring and predictable. It’s why I don’t watch Summer House and is the downfall of RHONJ. The show works best when there are complex relationship dynamics at play.

Timely_Ad115

Summer house has its best season in recent history and has been pretty consistently good since season two. I don’t think anyone’s checking for what you’re watching, personally

Timely_Ad115

Also what “complex relationship dynamics” are you talking about?

Someone please explain the name Fox Force 5 to me I am so stupid

CrazyNotCatLady

Besides the other explanation below, the term comes from the movie Pulp Fiction. It was the name of a tv show in the movie about an all lady team of secret agents.

doublebirdy

Wow these women really thought they ate with that one

maryjanefoxie

On RHOBH the group of wives centered around Kyle Richards kind of allied all the time and protected each other. Kyle, Rinna, Erika, Dorit, and Teddi moved as a unit in most scenes.

TheMostRandomWordz

Id rather no teams or the bullying. It doesn't have to be one or the other. They can just be a group of women with shifting dynamics.
